btw guys, when you purchase the exora CFE, what kind of rebates the sales person give you?

I'm quite keen on Exora CFE Standard version. I ask the sales rep to include for me a reverse camera, fog lamp at the front, and the door visor. she told me she will rebates for me RM800, but those accessories going to cost me RM1k. so in return, I just need to top up RM200.

The promo for Exora so little? Last year my family bought MyVi and I got close to RM1.5k rebates.

Anyone care to answer my question?

I'm quite confused now...some people recommend to use fully synthetic oil..some said semi-syn is good for our Exora Bold CFE (turbo engine)...any confirmation from expert?

Depends on what you want from your MPV. To me the only selling point for the Prime is just the captain seats, which looks pretty comfy for long journey trips.
But downside is that the prime is only a 6 seater (due to the captain seats).

I personally took the Premium over the prime because I find that the extra headrest monitors are useless and I prefer the practicality of having a 7 seater rather than a 6 seater. I also really didn't like the fake "wood" trim around the dashboard centre console. Moreover, to me the prime's extra features doesn't justify the extra RM10k.

Yes, if budget allows go for the premium.
As the 8 to 10k is worth when you look at the Auto-Cruise and the other additional fittings.
Last time, I tried 3 additional fittings for my Standard CPS and had issues.
1. the Seat armrest - the SC tried and couldn't fit as there was no hole in the frame and told me that it can be done only if I upgrade my Seat frame.
2. Fog lamp the centre console wiring in standard doesn't support for the Foglamp (but I saw from the forum one of the Workshop near KL can DIY this).
3. Auto-cruise - forget about this as it will be a major upgrade which none of the SC is willing to do (don't know about outside)
4. Auto Fold Side mirrors - I done this DIY also for my previous CPS and it was very expensive as I bought the Original Auto Fold Side mirrors (from Proton Spare parts) to suite well and do the wiring outside.
So if you end up buying all these things from outside, it will end up paying more than this. Only advantage I could see is the DVD and Monitors you can have as per your choice......

At the same time those additional fittings as well as the features are of no use for you then you may consider standard.

Im getting around 14L/100km.....first service on next week

I just use this one, with 5 holes

meaning for highway drive, this is a good and powerful car to drive along with "reasonable" fc about 13.5/L on 110km/h....

however if fully city drive, this is not the car for you...am i right to put it this way?

kalau rm100 baru dapat jalan 260...memang kuat gasak.
I biasa pump rm70 dapat jalan lebih kurang 250km

Masa pertama dpt kereta dari salesman proton, Minyak dah warning, tu saleman kedekut.pastu isi minyak kat shell rm100 terus setkan tripA, lepastu apalagi [masa trytest kereta baru ] 3 hari kemudian, minyak dah warning, chek km 260++ , 15.9l/100km. Lepastu isi balik rm100 d petronas. Meter menunjukan minyak boleh jalan dalam 584km. Skrg meter menunjukan 12.3 - 12.9/100km.
Kalau dpt jalan sejauh 500++km kan berbaloi.

Car still very new, need a little time to run in the engine. Wait till after 1st service then FC should be better..

Something seems to be wrong here.. Even when my lead-footed dad drives the EB, the worst fc I get is only 14L/100km 

Punch CVT should not have the 'rubberband' effect.

I would say it's more like the CVT engaged and disengaged at +/- 1.5k RPM.
If you feel it's abnormal, have it checked at SC. Sometimes it can be CVT error code that requires re-program.

Now, I have question: The grab handle for passengers at the last row, does it spring back to closed position? Asking coz mine doesn't...

As told by another members,we have the engine oil cooler or something which runs even when the engine is off.But my dad always says so Warm up the engine for atleast 5min or 7 since it's turbocharged.

Really cannot believe you guys do not have problems with the brake squealls and belt squeakings when air cond turn on....My Exora CFE is stock.... #frustrating#irritated... Worst part is I have to plan my time to go and leave the car at SC....
