New EB Premium owner reporting in...just got it today...my EB color is E.Brown...

I saw a layer of tint for all my windows...this is stock tint...is it illegal?

The sales person also offered me a free tint from SafetyTint...

Mine is 2014 batch with the HillAssist vacuum...but also disappointed with the stock CD player as I'm looking forward for touchscreen built-in GPS navigator...

i'm going to get Exora for my father.
currently, we have Estima and drive it for long journey like balik kampung.
the problem is, i feel like the FC is getting worse and its old already, broken here and there.
so, i'm considering Exora to replace the Estima.
what say u guys?

I've followed this forum for a week before I purchase my unit.

Read through the forum pages and get lots of valuable information.

Came to know only certain unit with year make 2014 onwards have HillAssist.

I insisted the sales person to give 2014 with HillAssist vacuum unit.

The latest promo is rebate RM2500, Yes Hurdle 2GB free for a year and SafetyTint.

I'm still in dilemma whether should or shouldn't remove the stock ECOTint.

As for the CD player, I paid for 78K for this MPV, at least in my opinion should come with built-in navigator...then its only value for money...hehehe

The stock ECOTINT is premium grade, keep it. It will cost RM800 over to get an equivalent replacement - front/rear windscreen RM200 each, and the sides ~RM200 per side of 3 windows. If you want to add additional tint on top of ECOTINT, better not, as it would void ECOTINT's warranty.

The old EB Premium (the ones with CFE emblem) came with a standalone GPS navigation unit. My dad's friend owns one and I have driven the car before for a week (this was way way way before when my family was still deciding to get a new MPV). I have tried the GPS unit before, I keyed in for my friend's home address (which was in Kota Damansara), the GPS brought me one big round to some other destination instead. This is what gave me a bad impression with the GPS unit that came with the EB. It is the one of the reasons why I insisted on getting the new EB (the one with turbo emblem) that did NOT come with the GPS unit.

This is just my reason, and I still strongly believe that it's probably just a coincidence that the trip I took with the GPS was a bad one. Anyway you can always replace the built in player with another unit just like many other members did

Mine comes with CFE emblem and I dint get the navigation unit?Are you referring to the Exora PRIME?

1. Who gives RM1000 worth of products away for free?
2. If he said most customers removed their tint, and you believed him, and removed yours too, and he can keep saying the same thing to the next customer.
3. Can you add the free tint on top of the existing Ecotint, and keep both in warranty?
4. If your car window got smashed and broken into, does the safety tint warranty cover damages?

Hi all, EB newbie here. Its my second week driving my White EB. Still contemplating between changing my rims to 17 or 16 since ive read in previous posts that it will void the warranty (specific warranty only on the coil n absorbers?) or totally void the warranty. Thinking of getting a wider 16 with 8jj replacing the ori 6.5 (which saves me a quite a lot coz using back the ori tires)- so so on the look-wise, wont affect much on the performance since the weight will be +- the same as ori.  But..been quoted for such a tempting price for a new sets of 17 tyres and 9jj xxr 527/CV3/Wedssport SA60M - better looking - will affect the performance since it will be heavier and what worries me is voiding the warranty. Some says it will void and some says it wont. Care to really clarify this matter guys?Should i or should i not change to bigger rims.? For  other questions? i will help myself by reading from v1 till v3 of the postings. tq for now.
