Because by end of June, they would have more familiar with how stock run, so would be able to send out more invite. No news about whether after June they will still implement invite system or open for direct order already.

Actually there'll be Nexus 6, but in 2 varies.
One is high end, one is low end.
There'll be a tablet too, in this year - doubt as Nexus 8.

However, these Nexus 6 & 8 will be the last this year.
Android Silver will take over and replace the Nexus program to make it fair for everyone to compete.

I didn't expect they really ship this Phone without the packaging box?

they actually explained to the winners. the accessories and boxes are only ready towards month end. rather than let users wait another few weeks, they decided to ship the phone first. the rest will come later.

good or not... well, so far, I think all the winners are happy about it.

fyi, one even had an empty box. seems phone got stolen during transit. the so called empty box unboxing can be found on YouTube and also covered by many tech sites.

OnePlus is investigating the issue. what I heard, very likely courier company's employee pocketed it.
