they actually explained to the winners. the accessories and boxes are only ready towards month end. rather than let users wait another few weeks, they decided to ship the phone first. the rest will come later.

good or not... well, so far, I think all the winners are happy about it.

fyi, one even had an empty box. seems phone got stolen during transit. the so called empty box unboxing can be found on YouTube and also covered by many tech sites.

OnePlus is investigating the issue. what I heard, very likely courier company's employee pocketed it.

ya, and it seems they weigh the parcel at certain point and it became lighter after custom clearance, or sth like that.

anyway, looks like first batch of invites might be going out soon for old timers in forum.

just curious for those who plan to get the phone from HK, which forwarding company you plan use? a few of my friends' trio is either too early (already gone and came back) or too late.

googled and.. it's 815 that will be octa core. 810 is still quad.

see:
http://www.qualcomm.com/media/releases/201...4-bit-octa-core

edit 1: added extra explanation in purple.

Insane, many games still not adapt quad core technology yet but octa core coming soon.

Actual 8 core, not BIGlittle.

Check a few source for 8994, it's big.LITTLE architecture still, but it's 64bit capable, LPDDR4, and LTE-Advanced drool.gif
If what evleaks revealed was true that there's no Nexus 6, their Android Silver device seems tempting, as long price wasnt sky rocket $600 above, then I'm on tongue.gif
I believe I will give up OnePlus One, although will still active here because it's an interesting device. It's just too big ( note 3 size ) for me to use comfortably, my current N5 just nice. Until time where all flagship are phablet size, and I will be forced to use oversize device. whistling.gif

ya, i checked and looks like still BIGlittle like R3b0rn indicated.

and have to correct myself...

the link i shared earlier:
http://www.qualcomm.com/media/releases/201...4-bit-octa-core

it's talking about 615 being Octa.

MSM8994 should be 810, based on Wikipedia.

no invites yet. but need to prepare first... coz... if invite given, got only 24 hours to place order. else invite is burnt.

so, better plan now. just in case.

originally supposed to get friends to help bring them in, but their timing not right.

As far as I know about China market's One Plus One, it's same hardware with Color OS as default. It should be sell on 28th May. If unchanged from previous info, China variants doesnt implement invite system.
