As far as I understand on Invite system.
1. Once received Invite, within 24 hours you must purchase OnePlus One or else it will be revoke back to inviter.
2. Once placed order, it will be ship within few days.
3. You may not receive invites for give away after you purchased.
4. You may not sell invites, as it expired too quickly and it might be bond to your account etc.
It does clear out my doubt about their Invite system. As first I thought Invite can be blast to as many people as possible, and maybe half or less of invites will eventually turned into purchases. And I thought that Invite was for them to accumulate how many devices they should produce and order this amount of devices to be manufacture.
As it turns out, if my understanding wasnt wrong; OnePlus invite system works like premium products. They had this amount of devices on hand, and they will give away this amount of invites to someone they picked. If all invites give away turned into purchase and no stock replenish at the moment, then no more invites will be available. It's good and bad, good as in there's no overstock and thus no unnecessary warehouse cost etc; bad as in future stock replenish depends on current purchase rate.

but selling is still possible since original invite holder has got about 2 weeks to give out invites. he can still sell it... arrange a time with buyer and then sell the invite.
I still prefer Groupon or Kickstarter method instead.
