One trick I learnt using CIMB CB card to pay astro and get 5% rebate is by calling them instead of paying online.

past few biling cycles shows that calling them makes me eligible for the cash back. rclxms.gif

paying astro bill via astro portal also can get 5% rebate.. no need to call them

It will automatic deduct when you enter your CIMB card no.

online application only? since i always go to garden/mv during weekend, i am thinking to drop by garden cimb bank to apply since they have 1 hr approval there.

Suprise today morning seeing CIMB sent me a platinum cash rebate mastercard....

Banyak aggresive CIMB ni..pon takda apply bagi saya buat apa ni....should i keep this card...hmmm

Nowadays, reward points is close to worthless. You'll never know when the depreciation game starts again.

Yes and I really can't justify when to use this card.
So yeah, though it is free but I don't want to keep card that has no added-value to me. tongue.gif

i cut the call already as wrong timing.

previously at right time, i layan them.

Cash Lite... 4.99% p.a max 3 years... min RM500 i think...

Login into CIMB clicks if you have and you'll see it.
Mine got approved. Why everyone say this card is so bad. 5% disc for online transaction is not too shabby you know.
Buy things from Groupon, Lazada all can get 5% disc.
