hye all....Currently im planning to buy either vios E or city E.... But after make some study at other threads, found dat new Vios got knocking sound problem and its still unsolved...
2014 new honda city, its still early to say the cvt gearbox is problem-free, i refer to old gen city/jazz GD CVT prob....its really a nightmare...

I can see theres alot of minor problem, but mostly its a solved issue....So, im quite surprised with the number of preve owner here in this thread...

Im 70% over this preve, since with the same price tag i just can get the most basic car for toyota/honda badge....Plus those toyota/honda also got problem...

What made all of you chose this local car compare to honda/toyota? Is it becos the price tag? Or you a person who can accept all 'this and that' prob on local cars...Dont you mind about resale value?

You will definitely face problems after getting your Preve, but, what kind of problems? I would say mostly minor things like rattling from the dashboard, and the infamous metal noise from the back. Nonetheless, these are fixable at service centers smile.gif

What made me bought Preve over other C segment car? Features, safety, price, space biggrin.gif

not necessary. ANCAP model means the model of preve that is specced to achieve the 5 star Aussie NCAP assessment program. It has 6 airbags and ESC as standard. Both Premium and Executive have them.

bro join prevoc club, u will know more

https://www.facebook.com/groups/preveownersclub/

and, if u jam at slope, do use handbrake to hold ur car instead of pressing the pedal, it might get overheated CVT.

Same issue with u, and i consider it as normal for preve la~

I bought car from mudah also .. you can trust the price but free gift... price is consider 'real' in this way:

Car price for premium: RM72k
Discount: RM4.5k
Discount on insurance (55% if you have not claim NCB) = RM1k++

Total price would be around RM66-67k. This is the reason you see cheap price here. smile.gif.

but in case of free gift, they are lier. They put everything in there as free gift but in fact, if you choose free gift, the cash rebate or discount will be lesser. In my case, I prefer cash rebate as I can buy and choose myself the things I need for my car.

Tips: always bargain to have touch n go (RM100) and a smart tag for whatever package you choose because the other free gift are just RM20-RM40 each.

Well, first of all, check the chasis no, engine no match ur car grant or not.

secondly, check on ur car paint, is there any dented

third, check all the equipment is working properly like side mirror, auto window, door open n close  all, boots, bonets. check the seat if is ok, the compartment is working. radio is working,

forth, start the engine, go for a round. if sound ok then should be ok.

and one more thing, make sure if the SA promise u anything like a full tank of petrol, tinted, gps, YES 4G, make sure u get it on the spot.

if not ask them to write down and sign if anything they owe u.

So, after all checks is done, then you are a happy man to bring ur car home. biggrin.gif
