Hey, I have an issue here before i go for some checking in the service center.

I own a non-turbo auto preve.

Just recently, I can here a heavy sound "clak" for everyt time of approaching the first 40km/h after a cold start.
I've been observing this for approx 3 weeks already. There will be no other sound after this situation until another cold start, it would repeat.
I wonder what is the problem, did u guys have this kind of problem and how u guys deal with it?

I believe if many are online tonight, you'll get advice to think if it's possible for you to stretch your budget to get a CFE instead. To us, the extensive boost of power is really worth it biggrin.gif

But, in the end it falls on how you are going to use the car, if mixture of city driving and highway, I think it's still a viable car to drive biggrin.gif Just watch on the FC, this car is always hungry. But above all, you get a top notch safety, compared to other cars in the segment and price bracket icon_rolleyes.gif

if money is a concern, go for persona sv..
not too bad fc.. handling even better than suprima... comfier ride than suprima.. against preve i dont know..
the engine is the same as the preve exec...

persona is one of the best value for money car.. if u can get it...
preve pun value for money... if preve, the cfe is more matched to the cvt box...

Hmm, for my side, i am happy with my non-turbo so far as i am more into fuel saving. oucch.. but to be honest, have to b careful in using a proton as its not really good for a rough usage.

I just spoil my front light adjuster with a slightly sharp screw driver. i am not aware that they are using a rubber screw hole as i am dong that at night. Well i was a bit harsh to my car tat time T,T . So, U have to care ur proton like a baby as u like how u take care of the milo tin body. than u can be a happy owner like me.. with my grief toward my headlight T,T

I had my advise from an engineer in peugeot who is loyal to proton ever since he bought a car. Proton could be the best affordable car as long as u are using the original part. Once china part come in, the car can be die after few years for some trouble lead by the replicate part.

yup due to the top notch safety, thats why i`m willing to stretch my budget and upgrade from persona sv.

CFE off my budget too much, though i know its better value.
