Preve Premium CFE? It is from Bosch. Called Bosch Multimedia Compact. Cannot be changed to Garmin of Papago. Better get a new head unit if you want to change the GPS.

different intake manifold, engine block and ecu. piggyback ecu still can't be used on + or so i heard.
more precise details u can ask proreka on their fb page.

but i do know this : to one user query if the SC can be use on "godly" vios, they said can tongue.gif laugh.gif

different intake manifold i percaya.. but different block?
IAFM is Intake Air-Fuel Module rite?
it is standalone unlike the VIM in CPS...
different tuning from 6.5k rpm max to 6k rpm max is probably done in the new 32bit ecu...

of course "god" car can la.. how long that 1NZ-FE been in production?its a mystery if they havent made a SC or BOT for it...

Hi Guys, I have been trying to find out which model of the Player that my Preve Premium uses but with no result.  What is the model of the player?  Or should I say Lokatoo player?
Also, I have read in some of the forums that our Lokatoo can be upgraded to Garmin or Papago.  Any idea who, where or how to get this done?  I personally feel the Lokatoo is no where in comparison to the Garmin or Papago that I use currently in my other cars.
*
that Bosch unit is not upgradeable.. even a map update will cost u Rm3++.. N Suprima HU is no better.. if only blaupunkt made the android not so bare..
best if u can get ur hands on some the unit by kenwood or pioneer that support mirrorlink..

the indonesian version is the Blaupunkt New York 830..

It is adequate for me. I can listen to radio, MP3. The sound is decent. I already got a reverse camera connected to it. As for navigation, I'm using Garmin Nuvi 3592. Route calculation is VERY FAST. Map is very good, and free too.

I'm looking for a replacement head unit, but none is available yet that fits my needs.

My requirements:
* 6" or larger screen
* Internet connected
* Able to run waze & google maps
* Can install torque & read bluetooth obdII adapter
* movie playback
* youtube
* DAB (Digital Audio Broadcast) & DVB-T (Digital Video Broadcast-Terrestrial) for future proofing
* GPS with free & timely map updates

Some of the requirements can be met by Kenwood DNN9330BT & Clarion NX702A. Until then, I'm happy with stock head unit & my Garmin Nuvi 3592 (which is android based btw, with google maps & waze)

why dont u try the pioneer appradio?
AppRadio3
AppRadio3
Pioneer AVIC

it is mirrorlink compatible meaning u just need a connector and ur smartphone is all u need to bring... anything that is on ur phone, is on ur head unit as well..

or just look for any HU that is Mirrorlink capable..

I have looked into mirror link, even wireless mirror link. It is a stop-gap measure to what I really want, a car computer. The best choice that is available for me right now is a "rooted" kenwood DNN9930BT. But review of a similar product, Kenwood Excellon DNN990HD (in the US), reveal problems of software hanging, haywire USB. Essentially buggy software. So I'm simply in waiting mode, getting the funds ready when the next generation of Android Head Unit comes out and fits my needs.

If all else fails, then that is the way.

This is what I'm looking at currently:

It runs on Android 4

What's missing?
* software still somewhat unstable and buggy (next version should be better I hope)
* locked software, I can't install what I want from Google Play

So that's why I'm just waiting. Version 2 of Kenwood's Android head unit might have what I want.

There's no VGT for petrol engine. The exhaust gas from petrol engines is too hot and make the variable vanes unreliable. A simpler method is to use twin scroll, i.e. 2 exhaust scrolls in the turbine side. That is what BMW, KIA et. al. are using.

Porsche 997 Twin Turbo uses a Borg-Warner VTG unit... Variable Turbine geometry..
VGT for petrol engines are not impossible.. just that the material needed to withstand the heat generated would cost a bomb!

or u could try this...

Compound Turbo..
