Hi, guys...wanna ask something...recently I feel a bit diff when driving my savvy...I think it all started around last Monday...while driving I noticed that when I pressed on the clutch pedal, the tension is slightly less than how it used to feel before...and there's a 'krukk..krukk' sound whenever I pressed on the clutch pedal whereas before this quite only, no noise pun...secondly, after the clutch thing happened, whenever I pressed on the gas pedal after shifting gear, my rpm will go up like really high but no increase in speed/power (like no acceleration at all)...after a while the rpm will go back to normal and my car accelerate normally...to avoid sudden increase in rpm, I adjusted by pressing the gas pedal slowly...imagine when you try to exit from a roundabout and you car make this loud noise when you try to accelerate but your car got no speed ~sigh~ anyone knows what the prob is? Appreciate your feedback...tq

hi. noticed that when i opened the door, there is no longer wheezing sound like usual. is my clutch pump dead? scared to turn on the engine  sad.gif

is your cabin light on? if not on means door switch is broken. try open other doors.
ya. you can start engine. the wheezing sound is the pump charging. if the accumulator is already full.. then no need charging again.

Today it is my time to pry open my speed sensor @fireballs 😁😁😁
Attached Image

In my case, no loosened part or rusty solder. It just that to many geabox oil inside the sensor made the tip stiff and not able to rotate freely. So i just cleanup all the oil and now it can rotate easily and has more freeplay.

Save money. Thank you @fireballs for the idea to pry it open. Xie Xie 😆

i just use penknife, then hold with plier, use hammer to lightly tap it
then screwdriver to pry it open.
ya.. very easy

the bolt thread should be broken this way after it's opened, did you glue back to close it tight?

i use superglue to glue back. normal rm1 superglue will do as its just simple plastics.

i open by using knife, then use screw driver kiau a bit then open. no twisting.
but i think twisting is ok.

remember to resolder yours. otherwise will come back again.

It is not a bolt thread. It is simply glued like the way the alarm key glued

Hi guys.
My little blue monster just burst engine after serve me well for 3 years.
It's a Sudden Death during heavy traffic jam, just popped out wiring warning and engine oil warning indicators then heavily smoke and the engine was dead, cannot start anymore.

after check by Proton Sc, they said it cannot be rebuilt again. Need to do engine transplant.

Any suggestions for that?
Should I go for convert Myvi Auto into the car , or just buy a engine kosong savvy throw into it?

If do engine convertion , aircond parts, driveshaft , brake servo, power stering...need to change or remain savvy parts ?

Hi, bro Fireballs.
Actually my ride was almost 12 years old, first batch 2005 Yr Oct manual Savvy.
I bought it from a college student 3 years ago, June 2014, 95k mileage.
When I reach 125k km mileage, the meter of car malfunction, then cause my ride cannot be start.
So order the last piece of meter from Proton Headquarters, then the meter start from 0 mileage.

In these 3 years, I been travelled for another 56k km mileage and i always changing wear and tear parts mostly using Ori parts, not mod to the car.
But 2 days ago, when I stuck in heavily jamm, it sudden dead.

Proton Sc announced it death to me, ask me to prepare engine transplant.
Is any workshop recommended in JB area ?
