Some random questions seek reply...

1. anyone made good success removing spare tire and achieved better FC?

2. any good contact to get Timing Belt & Bearing cheaply? please quote with brand thanks.

3. those happy savvy owners out there, what would you choose as your next car if not savvy? and why?

4. usually our engine oil service records has a next service date and next service mileage, which one is more critical?

Previously use Germain's Liqui Molly 10w30 engine oil can last 7000km but 4 months later only traveled 4000 - 5000km, i guess every 3 months must change regardless of millage clocked.

So, plan to use Idemitsu 10w30 (5000km) for next round, any issue using Japanese oil on Savvy Renault engine?

or suggest alternative oil for low usage. Thanks in advance.

Every 6 months ok lar. No need every 3 months. And yes, change it regardless how many miles you have used.
*
the workshop pasted a service record decal indicating only 3-4months interval, are u sure every 6 months is recommended for savvy?

so for low usage users here, what engine oil and filter u are most happy about?

decided not selling. Test drove a few cars, seriously disappointed by their lack of fun and worst is the horrible throttle lag. Not to mention when cornering time, the whole car feels like going to tip over doh.gif

Anyway, more new post to come. Stay tune whistling.gif

Hi David Sifu/Members, Good day !!!!. Recently facing a trouble in starting sometimes. Crank sound sometimes not audible. Is there any experience over similar cases ?
*
sometimes the battery terminal got some corrosion build up, use spanner to knock on them and try crank again. Battery age could be 3 years already?

Depends on tire spec such as thread/compound/thickness/width/speed rating. Technically, maximum size a Shawie can take is 175/50R15, and you can't get anything bigger than that or you're gonna suffer sagat issue. Ayam a happy camper of 165/55R14 as of now. Not only fuel saving, interms of agility, superseded any 175 series tayar so far. I may consider 165/50R15 if I'm still maintaining this car whilst the current tayar ran out of thread.

Technically, 13 will give you a lot of softness and allowed you to enjoy comfort. Please do not ask for performance as there aren't many choices for 13, unless you plan to spend a bomb on RPOXES R888 185/60R13 racing tayar. Another thing for 13 which is not laku as 14/15, it look small. Make your car looks like a shopping cart/trolley.

Other then the above, I really don't know how to answer you less you dive deep into tayar discussion, which require you to study over different tayar specs before we can start the discussion.
*
given 165/55R14, what type of brand/model of tyre would you recommend? or any tyre expert input welcome.
