For 185/60R13, that price is NOT expansive. It's rare size because usually 13" tyres came with the width of 175 and below. If there's 185, then the wall profile will be 70 or 80 for lori use doh.gif Let's not forget, it's semi slick tyres.

More detail: http://toyotires.com/proxes-r888

As for me, being a cheapjing has always put my consideration on pricing then performance blush.gif

William is 1 of the director, he's incharge of sales & marketing. Usually when arrived Renautech, he's the young tall Cainis guy who come and serve customer.

Hello David Si Fu
My left hand power window switch cannot control up/down. But
the right side switch controlling the left is OK. Also my back door
handle cannot open the car from outside. Can you advise how much
those 2 things can cost ? Thank you.

Hi to all Otai-otai Savvy notworthy.gif

Anybody have transplanted their Savvy into other type engine?

My 2008 AMT now 162,000km on the clock. The AMT acted up again. Just Spent 800 last week, now breakdown again. Already change Gear Lever at 150,000km.

I'm contemplating either to transplant or just repair.

Current repair may need new clutch and new Electric pump Motor and repair kit for the clutch pump. the car then will be able to continue maybe the next 5 years.

if Transplant, i'm thinking of Toyota Yaris 1.3 2NZ-FE engine. Has anybody done this?

Thanks in advance.

By any chance, saw a red AMT Shawie on tow around 3pm today at Jln Kuala Selangor hmm.gif I have not experience in engine swap since the car is still running fine at the moment. But if I were to swap, the next target will be either K3VE from MyBi or go straight to Starlet Tebu. Overheard MyBi engine conversion is around 7k, whereas Starlet Tebu will cost around 10k or 12k siap oberhol sweat.gif

Power windows switch can be repair one.. Very easy to DIY..
Just open the switch, remove carbon residue caused by spark on the metal connector only..

Time to repair is less than 30 minutes.. thumbup.gif

Repair AMT should be cheaper than transplant engine. clutch (RM600++) recon electro pump (RM400++) + actuator repair kit (RM 600++) + AMT oil + manual gear oil + workmanship

for clutch pump, remember to change the original proton repair kit. Dont just change the oil seal. it wont last for long.

Total damage just about RM2K.. tongue.gif

Today COD with h0pefree, finally got my power steering switch replaced. To those who suffering(or more properly described as slaughtered by Plotong and or any other workshop), you may look for him. Originally he's selling it for RM80(*Which is already 1/2 price of what I can get from sparepart shop, and usually Plotong will ask for 250), was surprised to get another RM10 discount from him. Ended up RM70 to solved my power steering switch leaking issue for 2 years now! Thinking back, don't know how many bottle of ATF fluid I've leaked over the years, should have get the switch from him and changed it very much earlier doh.gif
