Hi all, when should we replace the timing belt? Proton quoted around RM1.4k when I wanted to do my 60k service. That's really too much IMO.

QUOTE(andyyaosmurf @ Aug 22 2014, 05:15 PM) My son had sent his proton savvy to service centre last week due to break down. And his car is still under warranty, and the warranty claimed need to wait. AMT? Not Plotong lousy, it's because the engine is RENAULT, parts need to be imported from FRANCE. The engine is NOT lousy, it's just not too suitable for Malaysia kinda weather According to service centre, they claimed that the car was due to gear box problem and the repair required at least 2 to 3 weeks... just want to get all Savvy owner is that necessary need to wait for so long? why proton so lousy one? |
