This is not Shawie, but it's at behind the door after you opened. Try to switch it over and see whether still got plobrem anot.

If still got plobrem, u need to find a locksmith to help u up. I have no idea how much is it gonna cost since we do not know apa sudah rosak.

Power windows switch can be repair one.. Very easy to DIY..
Just open the switch, remove carbon residue caused by spark on the metal connector only..

Time to repair is less than 30 minutes.. thumbup.gif

Hi to all Otai-otai Savvy  notworthy.gif

Anybody have transplanted their Savvy into other type engine?

My 2008 AMT now 162,000km on the clock. The AMT acted up again. Just Spent 800 last week, now breakdown again. Already change Gear Lever at 150,000km.

I'm contemplating either to transplant or just repair.

Current repair may need new clutch and new Electric pump Motor and repair kit for the clutch pump. the car then will be able to continue maybe the next 5 years.

if Transplant, i'm thinking of Toyota Yaris 1.3 2NZ-FE engine. Has anybody done this?

Thanks in advance.
*
Repair AMT should be cheaper than transplant engine. clutch (RM600++) recon electro pump (RM400++) + actuator repair kit (RM 600++) + AMT oil + manual gear oil + workmanship

for clutch pump, remember to change the original proton repair kit. Dont just change the oil seal. it wont last for long.

Total damage just about RM2K.. tongue.gif

The current elctro pump in the car has been recond twice already. the 2nd recon lasted only 5 days. i'm afraid for another recond. and if buy new.. I wonder how long can it will last with the old clutch and leaky pump?

Does the clutch Rm600++ you mentioned include labor cost yet?
*
Mind to share where u recond your motor pump?

Since recon doesn't work for u, my advise is to get a new motor without pump. It will save u some bullet.. Price for new amt parts will increase soon BTW..

Clutch kit is about 400++. Labour cost 200++.. So roughly about 600++ depends on what clutch kit u get.

hey bro,is it a good idea to fix everything at renautech?Do they charge the spare parts reasonably?
*
Usually I sent my savvy back to proton SC at Cheras for replace AMT parts. Reasonable workmanship and skillful foreman. I never experience with other workshop on this. Can't give any comment on the price they charge. However, my experience with 3rd party workshop is part price will be more expensive than spare part shop, some even expensive than. Proton SC.

Just give an example, you try ask savvy engine oil filter price at workshop or spare part shop. Definitely expensive than rm12.75 which is the price selling at proton SC.

hi Friends,
First my intro.
sukesh123, M-Line, AMT, Tranquility Black, Sep06, 140000 KM as of Sep 2014.
I have been going through a lot of threads lately on Savvy. My mistake was i didnt research more before buying a savvy and now when i have bought one no use in being wise or regret on my decision to buy a second hand car which has so many problems.
ALthough til now i have faced problem of speed sensor. but there is oil leak that is happening and i need to fill up the AMT oil on periodic basis to keep the Auto light from glowing. ( I find the cost of refilling to be much cheaper than goinf for the full overhaul of the AMT system as suggested in the threads)

what i would like to know from you guys is is it a better choice for people like me who are short on case to either
1. Buy 2006 SAVVY AMT in RM 8000 then later spend around 2-3 K on getting it repaired.(Which i have done)
2. Buy 2006-7 MYVI for 22000 and maybe spend around RM 500 in repairs.

which would be a better choice.
Also if you can help me out whether i should let the oil leak problem be there and ignore till the AMT auto light does not glow.
I got it checked with Renautech and they suggested an amount of RM 2000 to fix the problem.

Sukesh

Did they told you the oil leaking from which part? Is it from actuator?
Most of the case, you can replace the faulty part within one thousand.
Soon or later, topping up the oil will not help any more.

abam h0pefree help me pls!
Lol.
Read the DIY before not sure I can do it myself or not. blush.gif

Actually AMT ni issues dia is either pump, accumulator or speed sensor. pump and speed sensor kinda cheap but accumulator tu the price is a bit steep for a small cheap car. sweat.gif

the rest normal service will do. thumbup.gif

My car facing same issue previously.
Cant use D mode which caused by faulty accumulator or insufficient AMT oil due to leakage @ clutch pump.
Btw, I think the sensor you referring to is potentiometer aka position sensor.
Can WhatsApp me if you need help @ zero19-double763nine15

On the side note, if I bai an AMT Shawie, will you be able to help me select a good 1? Teach me on the maintenance and so I shall own both MT and AMT happily ever after? hmm.gif
*
Engine condition is more important than AMT system..
Electric motor and clutch pump has its lifespan, no matter how you have to service/replace those parts every 6-7 years or 100k-150k km. Its wear and tear part..
Another common failure part is the position sensor, if you dont wash your engine bay, it seldom cause problem.

Solution: Remove power steering
WIN LIAO sleep.gif NO NEED TO SAY ANYTHING. 1 day I bring parang spanner go open your powahsteering pam

Question: The counter gear is made of what material? Why so easy snap a magnetic sensor gear? And shouldn't it be non-touching

Plastik I think yawn.gif

I don't know to laugh or cry at the people pumping RON97 now. Myvi min. RON90, Savvy min. RON91

Technically, higher RON will retard predetonation. So, having bigger ron can ADVANCE ignition timing to obtain more horse powah and lower fuel consumption, but the price different between RON95 and RON97 is injustifyable in my opinion. Provided the mere 2RON is quite impossible to make the ECU decide to advance ignition timing so to speak. As a matter of fact, a regularly running RON95 vehicle if suddenly put RON97, be expect to power loss yawn.gif Ayam not saying those people wrong that using RON97, just like people with a CELERON processor but putting in 8GB ram running on Windows XP. It's always bigger the better in our cuntry standard yawn.gif

Plastik I think yawn.gif speedometer sensor main material is plastic, not the magnetic speed sensor

What magnetic? There's no magnet around there also doh.gif Tibai 1 simple plastic gear connected to the final drive. Cigaoxin design. MGCH vmad.gif

I think our fellow friend refer to TDC sensor.
Magnetic speed sensor aka TDC sensor. That one has magnet tip.
