Probably city vs highway driving?! What was your average speed previously, are you using the car odometer dash to read the average?
*
Yes using odometer to read the average. Driving style remains the same with average speed sad.gif

something's definitely wrong in the formula somewhere.....

Was there anything different done during the 4th service?

And, have you checked your tires if any of them are low on air (especially the front-driven wheels) ?

And, is your urban driving in smooth traffic or constant short trips, traffic lights, jams, etc?
*
None I think. drain plugs, oil filter sad.gif

Tires pressure should be fine as I have just gotten new tires recently. they seem fine.

Driving style remains the same cos i know the way i drive. really scratching my head now icon_question.gif

Things I could think of, but may not be likely either:

1. They put in some fuel additive/cleaner which inadvertently affected your fuel consumption
2. During part of the service they did some routine software updating of your engine control unit which inadvertently affected your fuel consumption
3. Fuel is leaking somewhere

That said, do have a proper check of the tire pressures just to be sure

Share mine.

Axia E spec Manual.
Recent trip from PJ to K Terengganu.
New Bridgestone Ecopia tyres (only the front)
Average speed around 100-110..sometimes 120.
Travelled est around 40-50KM around KT district.

Using Petronas 95 , managed 451.3KM

Refilled at KT using Caltex, the petrol pump showing 25.3L , which I'm kinda sceptical because
1) The pump is kinda old fashion, like 90s with noisy pump, never upgrade, so calibration might be out.
2) My fuel light havent come out, usually if it comes out its around 23-24L.

So if based on 25.3L for 451.km = 17.9KM/L
If I base on 24L = 18.8Km/L

Drove back to PJ with Caltex, the fuel light finally came out at 493 thumbsup.gif . Seems better mileage.
Probably because the return trip I used the Jalan Kemaman-Dungun coastal road to Chukai.

Update:
Refilled Caltex - This time petrol pump is new and modern.
Refilled around 26.3L at 500KM so thats 19KM/L thumbsup.gif

Update on my Axia E spec (Manual)

Note:
1) Changed oil to Mobil 1 Advance Full Syn 5w20 on first fuel up. This is 2nd fuel up after oil change.
2) Cleaned TB at 108K due to irractic idling. Will monitor again after this.
3) Swapped front and back tyres.

Using Shell Ron 95.

Driving conditions : Full city driving, frequent short distance.
Total estimated passenger weight combined. : Estimated 235kg.
Somefimes carry goods.

Fuel amount: 25.4ℓ, Distance: 345.2㎞
Fuel economy: 13.59㎞/ℓ

Thats the problem with 67hp pulling 800+kg. When you add in another 200+kg, the power weight ratio diminishes drastically and engine really has to work overtime, summore in start stop traffic.

Thats why I recommend any buyers who regularly fetch passengers in city drives to consider the Myvi over the new Axia if they not prioritise handling.

Btw, Shell FC sucks nowdays across all my cars.

Not sure why but same for the shell vs my regular Primax and Bhp double additive. All 95. Never had 97 since years ago

Actually

After much observation since my post

I've concluded that petrol brands dont affect consumption

But it is the different pumps at different stations that skew the measurements and give false findings

A pump that refills slower can fill in more petrol before it cuts off, thus giving the illusion the car used more petrol.
