12km/l to me is not a lot. Understandable for a heavy b segment SUV but i think it is equivalent to a c segment sedan with 1.6 - 1.8l NA engine
*
Yeah i used to have a hrv too.. city drive i used to achieve 14km/l while highway easily can achieve 16-18km/l on light foot..
12km/l must be like just short market drive daily, otherwise should be better than that.

Interesting.

My previous refuel with 12.18km/l was on Petronas 95.
My latest refill using Shell 95 gave 10.8km/l despite driving with all the same conditions.
Too bad it slipped my mind to try Petron or BHP this round

Previously when we had MCO 1.0 Total lockdown and the RON 97 was super cheap (RM1.55
per litre), I actually tried RON 97 for my Axia E. It does show better mileage.
Well too bad, now the RON 97 is high, so I stick back to 95.

Yes, Shell is the worst for my Axia and another also.
I have tried BHP, almost similar to Petronas mileage.
Usually if BHP, I will goto the Batu 3 branch near HICOM traffic light - provided I'm on the way to Kota Kemuning or Klang.

Otherwise, BHP is quite limited in Subang area alone.

bear in mind my driving is almost all urban, meaning short trips, a lot of accelerate and braking, traffic lights, etc. not to mention only averaging only about ~30km/h

With more extra-urban conditions I think 15-16km/l is feasible

so far the best i managed was 18km/l on a long distance trip. But that one had an 80+kg passenger.

Petron 95 mixed Petronas 95
4) Driving Condition : ~95% highway, ~5% urban
5) Average Speed: 80km/h highway, 30km/h urban
6) Mileage : 71.6km
7) Refuel amount: 3.9L
8) Fuel Consumption : 18.35km/l

No passengers and aircond was off. Now I wonder how the claimed 21km/l would be possible
Add: The meter showed a supposed 20.5km/l whistling.gif

5) Average Speed: 60km/h
6) Mileage : 220km
7) Refuel amount: 30L
8) Fuel Consumption : 7.3km/L

I don't know what happened to my car it's only about 3years old Honda City. I was getting good mileage around 400km per full tank. Then suddenly after my 4th service at the 3s centre the Fuel economy goes down on the immediate next tank and got worse from there. Now I'm clocking a mere 200ish per 30L !!!! That's absurd. I'm super frustrated here. What could have gone wrong with the service and what are my recommended action to take? Please help me sifu

Probably city vs highway driving?! What was your average speed previously, are you using the car odometer dash to read the average?

How far are those traveling distances? Even my Honda Jazz can go for almost 400km/tank on 100% city driving with all routes are within 10km. And I’m well known among my friends for having the “golden right foot” 😂😂😂

something's definitely wrong in the formula somewhere.....

Was there anything different done during the 4th service?

And, have you checked your tires if any of them are low on air (especially the front-driven wheels) ?

And, is your urban driving in smooth traffic or constant short trips, traffic lights, jams, etc?
