Same here. Canceled my card 3 months back because they didn't want to waive my GST. Sent in my application form on Monday. Got the SMS say my application approved on Wednesday. RM 250 free money whistling.gif

If its on phone call, its a win to you.
As I know, you need to call in to waive the Annual fee which is most likely a done deal.
GST is a different story thou

For the RM 300 Citibank cash back promo is cumulative amount right within 60 days. But I read the T&C, under clause 10,

"Over and above the clauses above, all Successful Applicants who makes a retail purchase of RM1500 and above within 60 days from the approval date (“Qualifying Period”) will receive a RM250 Cash Back."

Okay thanks.

I have another question - if I want to take a different citi card, is it possible to transfer my points or are they lost when the old card is cancelled ? I've never used the points since I started using this card a few years ago

If U think Your Current Card is NOT Suitable on Your Need, U can request to Up/Downgrade to get the CC that Suit You Best Without Cancel the Card by filled up the Credit Card Conversion Application Form & sent back to them http://www.citibank.com.my/english/docs/pd...pgrade-form.pdf

Just Same like Others Citi Credit Card, will get 8.88% p.a (Preferred Tier for Cardholders who promptly settle their payments with >50% of their monthly outstanding balance for 12 consecutive months).
But, if You Failed to do so on the 2nd Year... it will Revised back to 15-18% p.a on the 3rd or Subsequent Years, Vice versa... http://www.citibank.com.my/english/citi-la...e=MYFCCCTT1#faq

I have one question

I have citibank platinum cash back and the annual fee is RM 195 per annum

I just called their customer service however she refuse to waive both of GST and annual fee with reason this year theres no promotion of annual fee waiver.

Did anyone face similar issue?
