Called in to Citibank to waive AF & absorb GST for my Clear Card. AF could be waived without any issue but they are not willing to absorb my GST so I told them to cancel the card. 2 days later cancellation dept called me and told me same thing. So card is canceled.

Are there cards that allows waive for GST ?

As I know, my Cimb Signature, Citibank Plat does not waive after the 1st year. Their "method" of waiving is asking you to use your points you earned doh.gif

Was told the following:

(1) spend RM1,000 within 60 days to get one cabin sized luggage; OR
(2) spend RM4,000 within 60 days to get the same plus one additional mid-large sized luggage

And also, swipe three times within 60 days to get annual fee waived and RM50 activation bonus.
*
I was not told on spend RM4,000 freebie.
The luggage bag is hard case correct ? Might want to give them a ring .

This means cash back of only max RM30 per month ? What does the front RM600 stand for ?

You will vomit blood if swipe card at KFC, 9.5x out of ten not allowed/failed eventhough they have the terminals.

I have nv been able to swipe my card in KFC ever since I had a CC 6 years ago shakehead.gif

As Im holding a CIMB, I am missing the 5% discount everytime I dine there. mad.gif
Had actually write in to KFC, they send me RM10x5 voucher and said will do something about it but I do not see any improvements of more then 1 year.

Btw, the Citibank cashbank promo is best for high amount transactions right ?
If 1 shot RM300 and another time RM200, the % is not as high correct ? sweat.gif

0.83 per month ? That aint like a promo for me ... from a debt perspective. But looks good for an investment perspective.

citi told me my Visa Platinum Rewards its FREE FOR LIFE the annual & gst

If its on phone call, its a win to you.
As I know, you need to call in to waive the Annual fee which is most likely a done deal.
GST is a different story thou

Guys, has anybody en-counted an issue as below ?
Something just hit my mind about my transactions, gving me an uneasy feeling, hence I asked my secretary to do a check on my credit card statement. Im not sure if it is a computer error, but it seems my debit does not tally with my credit. I have overpaid by quite a significant amount, and there is still showing "Unpaid Balance". Im a new citibank user from April, hence all records are still available online.
I am currently getting in contact with Citibank for clarification on this issue, but just like to know if any of you had such an issue. Part of my mistake for not checking this every month.
