She told me that annual fee cannot be waived and if i cancel i still need to pay prorate annual fee which is only for this month. It is rm195/12.

not really a lot bcs you only spend rm1k to get rm100 cashback.
but you need to achieve minimum rm50 x 10 times.

If U got Income of RM100k p.a get Yourself a Public Bank Visa Signature with 6% Cash-back on Dining, Groceries & Online Transaction... It's Annual Fee Waiver subject to 12x Swipes a Year brows.gif

For clear card it's free. Not too sure of others.

Their product disclosure is vague...

Use your new credit card

But I got the answer from the CSO just now.
Can get the 1st year annual fee waiver by using the card at least 3 times within 60 days.
The rm300 (rm50 and rm250) cash back promo still applies.

I agree. But i think of keeping this one, since i did the calculation and the cashback i got is higher compare to what i need to pay

agent say effective rate around 5.x% which is 3.2% p/a ... i am noob in effective vs flat rate ><
