Want to ask, how is the warranty? Covered by MSI or did Jayacom import themselves?

why not spend another 100 and get the phantom version with better cooler? hmm.gif

gainward's phantom custom coolers are not that steep of an upgrade like those Asus Strix, Gigabyte's G1 Gaming, MSI Gaming and Zotac's AMP! which is around 200 to even 400 due to price increase/ currency drop/ brand reputation doh.gif
It also come factory-overclocked laugh.gif

Finally gigabyte have replied to me the ubisoft game code . They just restored my faith to buy another one of their g1 gtx 970 card

user posted image . Problem now dunno what game to redeem

Assassin creed unity - the stuttering is unbearable plus I heard online play lag like hell

The Crew - Mix review , dead environment , retarded AI but pros its an open world game and I like test drive unlimited series

Farcry 4 - the color seems to be washed up compared to console counterpart . New patch solve the stuttering issue but im not really impressed with story and gameplay .

I know this is not really the right thread for this question . But to all other 970 gang what path have you taken laugh.gif ?

I had taken Farcry 4. (It's almost 1 month ago when I got the code)
Reasons:

1. Heard too many negative reviews regarding AC:U
2. The Crew also from Ubisoft. No more confidence in their new release games. (haven't release yet when I redeemed the code)
3. Farcry 4. The only multiple positive reviews I read out of the 3 titles.

Having said all that, a bit in me was hoping I should have taken The Crew.

I think if you plan to play multiplayer, neither of those 3 will satisfy you.

Now tempted to get the MSI Tiger. Price is ok I guess but surprisingly can't find reviews easily online.

Hi I got one as well. this PCB board is the same as MSI Gaming, capacitor all same. the only different are below:

MSI LED Light
Smart Fan Controller
8 Pin + 6 Pin
Black Memory Plate.

MSI GTX 970 4gd5t the most stable bios is "84.04.2f.00.50", OC stable 1460mhz and TDP at 110% (same as MSI Gaming version)

Previous not stable version : "84.04.1f.00.5f" got GPU Throttling issue and TDP limited at 106%. (who are under this version, please update the bios)

quite satisfy with the performance so far. I think compare to gaming version is 5-10 % faster than MSI Tiger and expensive, coz extra RM250+ for gaming version shakehead.gif

is the GTX 750ti is the current best performance over power without needing PSU power?

is Leadtek the model selling here a good by? at RM519?

or get the MSI as slightly more expensive at RM549?

or get the Gigabyte at RM559.

I am not sure the model they are selling here, I just refers to compu-zone.com and viewnet online pricelist, thanks

Thanks again

Yes

Just buy the cheapest. No matter how good is the brand, the GPU is still the same.

hey, FSP Raider 550W, but i've validated, it's not the PSU, but rather the GPU itself.

ngkhaimein and TristanX helped with some troubleshooting.
