QUOTE(ming0000 @ Dec 29 2014, 08:36 PM) waiting Nvidia annouce the GTX960 spec at CES2015. According from Hermitage Akihabara website the card won't be reveal at CES2015. QUOTE Nvidia is expected to launch the mid-range Geforce GTX 960 next month. The news comes from Hermitage Akibahara, which claims the card won’t appear at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Instead it will launch on January 22.The card is said to be based on Nvidia’s Maxwell architecture, more specifically the GM206 core. Little is known about the GPU itself, but the card is expected to ship with 2GB of GDDR5 on a 128-bit bus and a price tag of about $200, although we still expect it to end up north of $200. Maxwell is an extremely efficient architecture and the card is supposed to draw power from a single 6-pin power connector (obviously along with the 75W provided by PCIe). We will try to find out more about the GM206, namely the exact power consumption figures, so stay tuned. Sauces: Nvidia GTX 960 launch date pinned down | 「1カ月後に発売でしょうか」(12/20) ・・・某ショップ店員談

If all goes to plan, the 960 should equal the 770 in performance. Not sure if Nvidia is going to price it at the magical $200 price point or not, because any higher and it wouldn't make anymore sense.

http://wccftech.com/gtx-960-ti-benchmarks-specs-revealed/Leaked benchies for the GTX960 and the 960Ti... The benchmarks for the 960 looks very disappointing to say the least. It barely outperforms the older 760, and heck even a R9 280 would outperform them. The fastest 960 Ti is pretty good, though the pricing makes it not viable, since you can get the GTX970 if you are willing to spend more.... The GTX960Ti (1280SP) looks great, though the pricing could become a problem since it is dangerously close to a reference 970... Please take this as a huge grain of salt, since nothing is confirmed yet.

GTX 960 Ti 1536SP feels kind of redundant. Should just keep the 960 Ti 1280 SP and the base 960.
