zotac and gainward has reasonably priced 970 ma. I won't pay premium for asus, gigabyte and MSI.

Just a quick share. This German website compares 11 GTX 970 and rates MSI's version as their favorite followed by Zotac.

They also did a coil whine ( Spulenfiepen) test which shows that Gainward and Palit can be loud. I guess, that's why its cheaper.

eh rich ppl.. hmm are u talking about urself ? by way ur already using R9 290... (if reference gpu sure GTX 970 performance 5%+/ but if TriX/vaporX performance kinda same) unless you worried electric bills ?? smile.gif

Where got rich la .. I had to sell my r9 290 to fund for the gtx970.
Lazy to update signature .

I know its not much of a gain in terms of perfomance but I still have plan to get a gsync monitor once year end bonus is out lol.

Ah... i feel you... gaming at 1440p... drool.gif It's like a dream to me. Probably need 3k to do that. GTX970 + Monitor (probably korean brand to save $$)

Asus is cool and quiet(3 years warranty). Zotac slightly hotter and higher clocked but still very quiet(3+2 years warranty). EVGA not sure can get it here?

evga heard got the loud fan issue where the down part don't have cover for the pcb compare v asus & zotac. go for zotac brows.gif 5 yrs warranty.

EVGA?Then go on to Amazon or Newegg,and get it from there.No one is bringing in EVGA cards to Malaysia,so far..so you need to get them through the websites i mentioned. tongue.gif If you want to spend RM1249,then get the Zotac GTX970 Dual Fans.1.4K for the AMP! Omega Edition and 1.5K for Asus Strix GTX970 DirectCU II. tongue.gif nod.gif

i pick zotac over asus. asus slightly expensive abit. ya no evga at m'sia. i don't like the zotac extreme with 3 fans design.
