got a simple quesiton about mbb's cc payment vs due date.

If the due date = 20 April, that means any full payment made on and before 20 April will not incur any penalty/interest fee right?

what if i make full payment at 10pm/11pm on 20 April? is this consider safe?

If you pay via M2U, it's still ok at 10pm.... actually there's 1-2 days grace....

For example: My combined credit limit is RM5000. And so far I already spent RM1000, the question is, now I wanted to swipe this weekend with AMEX for another transaction costs RM5000 which will exceed my credit limit.

Any alternative do I have? Call CS to temporarily increase my CL or deposit some money into my AMEX account or saving/current account that linked to the AMEX?

Option 1: Ask for temporary credit limit increase (but normally only subjected to overseas travelling or medical expenses). Can try no harm

Option 2: If option 1 not allowed, bank in RM1000 to your AMEX card account to increase back the credit limit

if you do not have the card then no point balance transfer since u will charge RM50 GST for new card...

Does anyone know whether can pledge FD to apply MBB dual card as my fourth CC? 100% will approve? Annual income <36k and currently holding 2 HLB CC and 1 UOB CC. Thanks in advance.

My not so good experience to share:

when to a maybank branch to register M2U using MBK2 amex on 17th march..had to wait for 1 hour
the officer was unable to register via mbk2 amex, so she did with mbk2 mastercard and said amex card would be automatically linked..

went home and logged in but amex wasn't there...
so, i called CS and he said he would link it for me in a week...

1 week passed and amex still not there, and i called CS again..now the CS ask me to go to a branch since they were not able to link my amex to my M2U account...
she also suggested me to open saving account so that all my cards/loan would be linked automatically

So today I went to the branch again to open saving account and register another M2U using visa debit ..had to wait 40 minutes
however, My credit cards still not linked...so i called CS and he asked me to go back to the branch.

I will probably go there this friday hoping that they can link my amex...

The officer must be new. Usually, there will be no issue when you already have a savings account.

just submit m2c gold application yesterday evening at klcc branch..been told that they are in renovation process and will inform by "next thursday" for my application..klcc now no more 60mins?

If you are seriously interested in MBB2 cards, try cancel one of your cards to ensure success application. Yes, you may try pledge FD for your 3rd bank application, please make sure 1) your ccris is clean 2) your current credit limit utilization rate is low 3) You got substantial amount in your CASA 4) your current card must not be pledged by FD. Most probably you won't get it... But still it's worth a try.

yeah, after ocbc tmc no more offering 5% cb, many turned to uob one card for the 5% petrol cb. so uob rm900k monthly allocation will be finished within the first 2 weeks of every month (confirmed by uob cs). so uob one card is basically useless starting the third week of a month.

weird. received sms saying paypal charged me USD 1 but in paypal shown error. can't confirm card.
