I had upgrade the card few year back, but non clear benefit to gold except we got faster CS line compare gold.
Its dont need choose option and direct talk to CS.

i will advise to be super careful with refund back into your credit card account. refund in cash or check no worry. i remebered i had to do a refund from paypal, if not wrong, which was given 5% cash back and TP for 1.5k. MBB deduct back the TP, and some more deduct the 5% up to the full amount charged (RM75). In total I kena back charge RM25. Had to go to card center and file complain to get back the money

Are you saying this:
1. Deposit RM5k : you get 25k TP.
2. Refund RM2k (assuming, since no info given) : you get another 10k TP?  (or was it a -10k TP?)
So in total you get 35k TP?
Can you check again your statement if this is the case?

That won't happen lah.... to get 5x on refund amount is crazy... In Aug-2013, I did a partial refund at Toys R Us and receive -5X TP in my account.

Well, it is quite easy to hit that rm1000 for me. Now I'm paying TNB, Streamyx bills(my house comes to about rm220 and my wife's taska about rm400). A dinner at KL in weekends. Balance of that rm1000 will be used to pay in advance on my TNB or Streamyx bill. So all my account monthly statement are -rm***

Now I'm forced to spend rm2000 a month to get back rm150 of cash back.

Treats point now have expiry...ok, it's time to terminate the card after spending all the points...haha.

You need to have strategy to use the cards.
For me, I only spend rm900 a month on everything. But by buying for others and pay other's bills, I managed to get full rm2000 a month. Even my mom disturb me on such heavy spending. I tell her back that this is how I cash out my cash and get some extra "interest" from it.

i think no problem if just want to collect card.. if you want 1 hours approval, this cannot be done on weekend, because it fall out of the 'selected service'
