i don't know either because i didn't update anything since 2005.
i thought anybody with mbb cc and using m2u will automatically opt for the edm.

just had a long chat with Maybank CS.

In M2U, i ticked some "Financial Interest", e.g. Credit Card, Insurance, Investment, etc. Submit the changes, and it's done. Logout, login M2U and selection is there.

Now, i wanted to untick some of the options, and submit changes again. The page refreshed with my previous selection. Logout, login M2U but selection is the previous one.

based on MBB's CS, I cannot untick the options after I ticked them earlier (huh?! rclxub.gif). They going to escalate to the product manager (probably in charge of M2U) to deselect some of the options.

that sounds so weird if to involve product manager to deselect for you on your behalf...
have you tried clearing cache or cookies and try again?

tried multiple browsers, incognito mode, cleared cache/cookies, tried on 3 systems.

I might try this tomorrow. I have a hunch that changes is limited to 1 time per day. No harm trying tomorrow.

as I remember it will automatically charge you once week before your stay if u choose pay later date
*

Yes I went to Maybank agoda and can see Maybank banner. I can see there is a promotion tag on some hotel but not the one that I chosen

use cash mean no TP at all..
at least use Visa/MC still got points..
unfinish cash will have to exchange money back to RM which will lose during exchange..

so use AMEX all the way is better smile.gif
*
i always thought using visa/master is better.
Gonna use AMEX all the way from now.
Thanks guys...

Er, I don't see any promotion tag and I have booked 5 hotels stay amounted RM 2k+ in last week and I got the 7% discount every time I check out.
I just booked whichever hotel that I prefer, never noticed if there is any promotion tag.

VISA/MasterCard wins in term of higher acceptance compared to AmEx.
However, Maybankard2Cards' main highlight is the AmEx and happy to say there are many merchants which accept AmEx these days.
With the 5xTP, it is really worth to use AmEx all the time. I seldom use my VISA as I have other cards from other banks.

Er, after you put in your Maybank credit card no., it doesn't deduct 7% discount? hmm.gif
Maybe I was just lucky that all my 5 hotels were under the eligibility list but to be honest I didn't notice that.

I super like this card. Earn 5x points extreme fast unlike the others. On top on that we get 5% cash back for anything at weekend too. No annual fees for life! Love it!

the pay later date is just few days before the date you chose which will be charged, unfortunately mine all fall on weekdays, anyhow pay later date is better cos I found the same hotel a few days later had a better promo hence save quite a bit more rclxms.gif so cancelled the old one
