QUOTE(yonghong @ Apr 23 2014, 11:07 AM) haha. need after june, my salary only increase over rm3k. lol. bt anyone know about uob one card? how is it? Was in my consideration last time before OCBC reduced their 5% cash back, but after calculations, I take WISE instead. If not a heavy user, UOB are not a bad card. Just that the setback is the limitation are a lot and can't suit my spending. With your pay, apply for classic should not be a problem. I already owned quite some bank's CC before but till now I still can't apply for HSBC's classic card.

Hi guys,
From where can I check the statement, bill and etc dates for the cards? And which date do we have to abide to pay the bill in order to prevent any interest charge? And I know we can change the date to suit our pay day right?
One more thing, do I need to revert back the yellow form (where the cards stick to) to Maybank?
I just received my cards yesterday =)

QUOTE(supersound @ Apr 23 2014, 10:50 AM) 21 days are after the statement date. QUOTE(victorywp @ Apr 23 2014, 10:53 AM) you will have 20 days of free-interest from the statement date. let's say if your statement date is on 14th, and you swipe on 15th, this transaction on 15th will have 20 days free-interest starts counting from 14th of the next month. sorry I dont quite get it. let me give my real example. my statement date is 3 april. payment due date 23 april I swipe on 15 april and 19 april. so how many days free interest for these 2 transactions?

To make it simple, pay what statement states and not pay as you swipe That's the advantage of CC This post has been edited by supersound: Apr 23 2014, 03:18 PM

When the statement date comes, you have 21 days free interest, which means u have to pay your full amount according to the statement, on or before the due date, which is 23rd May. By general, banks will tell you 21 days free interest. But if u want to count it to be more specific, your 15th apr transaction will have 18 days (until statement date) + 21 days (due date) = 39 days (current day takes into account).
