QUOTE(victorywp @ Apr 18 2014, 10:35 PM) oops sorry... i am a poor memory and poor eyesight old man... aeon don't want you, but they want your money, so please try again. Haha.. they don't want my money either. so I contribute to OCBC. OCBC unlimited 1% is actually not bad... i received 12x last 2 month and 5x last month. So even if I use watami, it's still capped at 150. So OCBC 1% wins! Back to the topic, if there is only one wish maybank will grant, I would wish their MBB2 Visa/Master is unlimited 1%.

QUOTE(DarReNz @ Apr 18 2014, 11:55 PM) i think if you have maxed out your watami card and u don't have ocbc i wonder which card will you choose if doesn't accept amex too ... anyone noticed got quite a number of ppl bashing the facebook ocbc page regarding titanium cc ? If watami maxed out, then use MBB2 visa/Master lor. At least it has 1x point (=0.4% cashback). Better than keep on using watami and get nothing. QUOTE(DarReNz @ Apr 22 2014, 11:02 PM) it's still ok if no choice have to spend more than 1k a month still can get 5x points Yup... 5x points is still better than many other cards. My spending for amex alone is more than 5k each month. The points is really what I enjoy.

QUOTE(cx2531 @ Apr 23 2014, 02:07 PM) but 1% is no limit right? spend 2k only got rm20? hmm yup... when mbb2 and wise max out, ocbc is better than other card that gives only 1x point (equivalent 0.4-0.5% cash rebate).

QUOTE(kazekage_09 @ Apr 23 2014, 03:04 PM) sorry I dont quite get it. let me give my real example. my statement date is 3 april. payment due date 23 april I swipe on 15 april and 19 april. so how many days free interest for these 2 transactions? 15th apr and 19th apr transactions will be in the next statement date, means 3rd May. When the statement date comes, you have 21 days free interest, which means u have to pay your full amount according to the statement, on or before the due date, which is 23rd May. By general, banks will tell you 21 days free interest. But if u want to count it to be more specific, your 15th apr transaction will have 18 days (until statement date) + 21 days (due date) = 39 days (current day takes into account).

So that means we will always have more than 21 days free interest unless we swipe ngam ngam on the statement date right Yes! If u swipe ngam ngam on statement date and pay ngam ngam on due date, u have 21 days interest free. (Minimum) If u swipe 1 day after statement date and pay ngam ngam on due date, u have 51 days interest free. (Maximum) *Off topic: business credit card will have longer interest free days.

Some info to share. My wife using a MBB2 Gold and have a credit limit of 8k. As of yesterday, there's an outstanding of rm100+. Then yesterday she was making a purchase of around 9.2k in single transaction using AMEX. Guess what...?? Tadaaa..... The transaction went through on the first swipe without decline. Not sure if there's any over limit charges will be impose but gonna settle it as soon as the transaction is posted to avoid any possibility of over limit charges, if there's any.
