QUOTE(Thrust @ Nov 3 2014, 08:17 AM) So the oem plugs can really last till 100,000 km. my car only clock in at 52,000 km now.. Still a long way to go before replacing the plugs it says 100k replacement on the honda website, and also as recomended by NGK but most says performance will drop past 80k km usage QUOTE(Shreddy @ Nov 3 2014, 03:09 PM) I replaced mine at 100k. original ngk iridium laser.. quite pricey.. not wrong should be about rm200++ for 4. i looked for the original ones and its 180, and most say the NGK are the same both iridium

The original plugs in our City uses NGK or Denso?
A lot of people says Denso iridium are the better plugs if compared to NGK iridium.

do you guys service your aircond regularly? if yes, can recommend shops around ampang - batu caves? previously i service at SC during 35k and 70k service (it is OPTIONAL). since then have not done any aircond service, just change the filter only. now almost clock-in 120k

Its a bit noisy when the car is coming to near stop. That's why I am recommending you to stick to the OEM Nissin pads.

Hi all, new user of 5G Honda City here. Bought a used one, year 2010 however very lucky because the mileage is just a little over 13.5k km. And of course, the ride also still feels like new (I drove my sister's 5.5G City which she bought new before, and it feels the same). So I have to say I am happy with my car. However, I have a question here for you guys. Since my car is no longer under warranty, so I just serviced the car outside. For 20k km service, should I change the transmission oil as well?plus the car is already 4years, do you think I should change the auto transmission oil? And if yes, May I know what is the type/brand of auto transmission that I should use? Thanks in advance guys

Thanks in advance guys You can definitely service it outside as its cheaper, look into the honda site under maintenance page and see what needs to be changed based on the mileage, but this car since its so low on mileage, its like been sitting there for some time as when you get the car, everything which is fluid, just change ... not gonna be expensive engine oil - 100 to 150 atf - 120 i think brake oil - less than 50 coolant - less than 50 air filter cabin filter - optionals

I however recommend you to change it every 30k km just to be safe. It is not expensive to change the fluid. Please use Honda Genuine Transmission Fluid (DW-1). Fuel filter should be changed every 40k km. This part is pricey though & I will let Honda SC to replace them as they are more familiar on how to dismantle & install it.

Thanks guys for being very helpful. Surely I will do as advised. Thanks Thrust and earl-ku. Regarding the atf, does it available at any shops or do I need to buy it directly from Honda?
