Warranty expired so I just use fully synthetic and go for 10000 oil change interval. For your info, Honda updated their engine oil. They now carries SN 0W30 Fully Synthetic (This 1 must be PAO base from Group IV oil as the price is quite steep at RM198) , SN 0W20 Fully Synthetic (This 1 is actually a highly refined Group III based oil).

I think its best to use the xW30 oil as our engine optimal oil should be that weight although xW40 weight oil can also be used. I am currently using the Honda 5W40 SL Fully Synthetic oil and will be changing it to Honda 0W30 SN Fully Synthetic oil this coming weekend.

Hi there, so which one are you using that u can change every 10k interval ? got how many types of fully synthetic ? which can is 5k and which is 10k ? Please help... I hate doing every 5k cuz it's time wasting and more expensive. How come last time, when I ask they tell me that fully also last only 5k? which type are they talking about ? My honda city is this type not the new facelift or the 2014 This post has been edited by nodeffect: Nov 20 2014, 11:42 AM

I am driving a 2010 year make, warranty is over so now i service every 10k km. That's why i prefer fully synthetic oil to ensure maximum protection. If you service at 5k, i will recommend you to use semi synthetic oil.
