Hi all, new user of 5G Honda City here. Bought a used one, year 2010 however very lucky because the mileage is just a little over 13.5k km. And of course, the ride also still feels like new (I drove my sister's 5.5G City which she bought new before, and it feels the same). So I have to say I am happy with my car. However, I have a question here for you guys. Since my car is no longer under warranty, so I just serviced the car outside. For 20k km service, should I change the transmission oil as well?plus the car is already 4years, do you think I should change the auto transmission oil? And if yes, May I know what is the type/brand of auto transmission that I should use? Thanks in advance guys

Thanks guys for being very helpful. Surely I will do as advised. Thanks Thrust and earl-ku. Regarding the atf, does it available at any shops or do I need to buy it directly from Honda?

QUOTE(earl-ku @ Jul 10 2015, 04:06 PM) Most of the Honda City 5G owners here would be affected, wait for the letter from Honda ... <a href='http://<insert paul dot tan here>/2015/07/10/honda-malaysia-recalls-another-143970-vehicles-over-faulty-takata-airbag-inflators-six-models-affected/' target='_blank'>http://<link removed>/2015/07/10/honda-malays...odels-affected/</a> What if I bought the 2nd hand car? Do I need to contact them directly?

Hi guys, what do you recommend for in car gps and reverse camera for Honda City? Within RM1.5k range, the cheaper the better. This post has been edited by hidz7: Jul 25 2015, 03:27 PM

QUOTE(earl-ku @ Jul 25 2015, 09:28 PM) Test it out properly bro... A lot of the cheaper unit some when using GPS cannot play music and vice versa and some very lagging when switching between map and music or radio That's why. I'm afraid that if I buy random china product, it will be a mess. Anyone here has any suggestion on what brand or where to buy? Anyone did this modification to their City here?

QUOTE(Thrust @ Jul 2 2016, 09:34 AM) That's what all SC will tell you. I was told the same thing too. However, an email to Honda Malaysia confirmed that our City requires passenger side airbag replacement too which is under the 2nd batch recall. Part shipment will start arriving in July onward. How do we enroll into the 2nd batch recall list? As I have changed mine, but only for the driver side airbag,I have told Honda SC many times that there is a new recall for passenger side airbags as well, but they said as of now they only receive instruction to change driver side airbag for my model. Hi guys,
My Honda City front tow cover (the one with circle plastic cover, on the FL, its in square shape), happened to be detached from the bumper and seriously I dont know when did it fell, probably somewhere along the road.
I think it might have became loose after I "kissed" another car before. Where can I get it replaced? Kinda hurt my eyes seeing my car with a hole in the bumper :'(

Hi guys. Im thinking of installing an aftermarket modulo bodykit to my 2010 City. One shop that I found quoted rm954 for including paint and installation cost with gst. The material is ABS. I heard that this material is good in a way that the paint on the bodykit will not be too far off from the original body paint. What do you guys think? Any suggestion or recommendation where to get the modulo bodykit? Thank you!

QUOTE(ericmaxman @ Feb 21 2017, 08:20 AM) Turning n o noise. Just that early morning got nyek nyek sound After driving a while then no sound. How damn weird. I'm having the same problem. No idea what happened But mine is more like "nyit nyit nyit" sound when on uneven surface. Will be more audible at night becoz the surrounding is quieter compared to during the day. Any idea on how to solve this? :| This post has been edited by hidz7: Feb 26 2017, 05:26 PM

QUOTE(ericmaxman @ Feb 27 2017, 11:08 AM) Replaced stabilizer links. Appeared to have solved the nyek nyek sounds in the morning. However.. There's now a glug glug sound from the right side of the car... How much did it cost to replace the stabilizer links?

QUOTE(ericmaxman @ Feb 28 2017, 03:47 PM) Update: Replacing stabilizer links did not solve the nyek nyek sounds. Back to finding out the source of noise then Ohh it must be one hell of a task to find it

QUOTE(ericmaxman @ Mar 8 2017, 09:51 AM) Interesting. I need to check this out. Thanks! Does the glug glug sound really loud? Mine at the back also got some sound, mainly when driving slowly over bump or inclined surface.
