QUOTE(BaRT @ Apr 5 2014, 12:20 PM) Hi all city owners, I send my car to old klang road Honda. I think if u send it to outside workshop. Higher chances its not original compared to Honda right?last week, my honda city (model 2008) had an accident. Somebody hit my car from behind during traffic jam. All the police report is done, now want to proceed with repairing work. It seems like rear car bonnet, rear bumper & lamp need to replace. So my question is, how to ensure the workshop is replacing with original part, especially BUMPER. Because I heard there was several type of bumper's material. Or it is ok if I just send my car to Honda? But honda will take long time to repair (+ honda confirm replace original part meh?) Anyway, I stay at puchong. |

QUOTE(BaRT @ Apr 5 2014, 08:52 PM) Yep...there is high possibility the part will be not original if I send to other workshop. from my experience. honda dont repair or touch up, they change the whole thingMy car using different insurance from Honda, which I apply by myself. So did you means, if I send my car to honda workshop & the insurance/adjuster approved to replace certain parts of my car, honda will not repair it using original part? because I'm using different insurance? But my biggest question is; if the insurance approved to replace my bumper for example, do you think honda workshop will replace it to new one? (instead of repair/touch up it like common workshop do) |

QUOTE(BaRT @ Apr 6 2014, 11:26 AM) Really? Then good to hear that. i send my car to honda setia alam. they send it to old klang road for repair.Anyway, the one you said at old klang road, their workshop is located at that area? Because if Honda puchong SC, they will send my car to their workshop at jalan ipoh. Quite far... this is the address for old klang road honda. Peringgit Sri Motor Sdn Bhd (Body & Paint Centre) No. 171, Batu 3 ¾, Jln Kelang Lama, 58000 Kuala Lumpur. |

QUOTE(earl-ku @ Aug 6 2014, 11:44 PM) will tell you that the whiter it goes for these halogen lamps, the less the intensity it is ... it will still look the same, but there is just no intensity making it hard to illuminate the roads at night ... Bro. Where did u do The fog lamps HID? How much is it?i have tried these so far 1) Philips Extreme Power, best if you just wanna change the stock bulbs - brighter but yellow still 2) Philips Crystal Vision, looks way whiter than Extreme Power but intensity not as much as the yellow bulbs 3) Osram Cool Intense Blue, very white as well like Crystal Vision, but lack intensity as well, using this currently with HID 4300k on the fog lamps, matches well, just the headlamps is not as intense as the HID, but color warmness is the same Technically all above should be legal as still halogen, just the warmness is off white The problem with my car is these bulbs burns off way too quick ... all lasting average 1 year plus --- I am thinking of changing the headlamp, and retrofit projector headlamps and use HID ... Anyone modded any projector into their headlamps? Feedback needed and from which modded is it done with? |
