Contrary to that, Renegade still has the list of IPTV Stalker (if that's what you mean by IPTV) channels visible, for you to add to Renegade. Maybe they kept the Stalker links in their database.

Oh that's awesome, let me check this out then. Thanks.

Alright! Managed to watch SkySports and History channel on Renegade via IPTV Stalker. Here's to hoping it last.

I know that - it works basically similar to FTV EPG and another EPG that used to be free

Sorry if I misunderstood your question.

The reason why myself, and some others, are interested in this Renegade program is solely because IPTV Stalker is no longer free , and the lists of channels all disappeared from the addon suddenly a week ago.

This is where 'Renegade' comes in. It still has some working IPTV Stalker channels among other addons, and it also provides the full lists of IPTV Stalker channels from which we can select and incorporate into the program (If we know how).

this renegades tv guide is only good for some addon that has gone defunct, no longer updated properly.

which is useful to "get back" iptv stalker - a good addon.

no use for bbts or other iptv whose addons are still functioning.

i would think it could have been useful at one stage for mashup when it "died".

You can even select some non working channels and replace them with a list of other IPTV Stalker channels (The complete list of IPTV Stalker is only visible when the options window is activated).

Do note, that this won't update the Logo and EPG info for the Channel it is replacing and will cause confusion if you can't remember which Channel you saved it under.

But at least you can move the position of the channels around to group them together for easier location.

Will ftv guide be able to load most IPTV Stalker channels like Renegades ? Will try that out.

----------------------------------------

Tried it out. Unfortunately FTV Guide doesn't recognise IPTV Stalker.

Also most of the other Channels Streams not working as I don't have have the relevant addon installed. No Go for me sad.gif

I try to minimize number of remote controls on my desk.

Anyone here tried using Astro Byond remote to control Kodi in Raspberry Pi 2 via GPIO IR receiver?

If yes, where to get the Astro Byond remote control's key-map?

Fantastic News for Kodi IPTV Stalker fans. (Only tested with PC Windows)

For those who want to revive IPTV Stalker Channels for free, install the Ivue TV Guide program. You should select it to specifically load IPTV Stalker channels only. Most of the Channels are working out of the box with EPG (some info not accurate). No much need for any further adding or selecting channel streams from addons.

But you have to search and download the program yourself. The instructions might differ on the installation procedure because the contents of the zip file might have been changed after the instructions. So you have to figure out yourself.

You can now discard 'Renegades' biggrin.gif and use 'IVue' instead if you are interested in IPTV Stalker Channels only. ASS 1-3, MUTV, Discovery Channels...and most others, work out of the Box without intervention thumbup.gif
--------------------------------
However I hope there are only few Stalker fans, because too many Free users accessing , they might detect and disable later sweat.gif

---------------------------------
Note - Just like 'Renegades' , IVue can be a bit unstable sometimes on my Isengard 15.0 Beta especially when browsing and testing too many channels.

Is it the same as Renegades where you need to choose the IPTV Stream and assign it?

Well, just a bit of info that might be useful for all users here. Personally i just use the SilenceROM community builds since I want something that works out of the box. Previously I do use to install and setup addons individually and manually linking to Renegades or iVue was a very time consuming affair.

What this SilenceROM does it that it already has all the necessary addons pre-installed & pre-configured. You can get more info about what addons comes with SilenceROM on the links I have below. You can also see how SilenceROM looks like from that page. For EPG alone it comes with 3 separates program addons which are FTV guide, Renegades and iVue TV guide and all these are preconfigured with all the channels. So no need to manually add channels to the guide.

In this build iVue are linked with most of IPTV Stalker channels already minus the latino channels, the non-english channels, the music channels and the adult channels. On first time usage, before opening iVue, you need to open up Zues video addons as Zues need to update and populate itself. After doing that iVue would operate properly.

It is advisable to have a very fresh Kodi install if you want to try up SilenceROM. Then install TotalInstaller as you will be installing SilenceROM community builds through it. Another way of installing SilenceROM is by using SilenceROM wizard program addons. Link for the guide are down below

I already mentioned the IVue installation already work out of the Box, during setup just select what addon you want it to configure for (e.g IPTV Stalker), and evgerything (most) will work without manually adding Channels.

Why need for extra work using SilenceRom when it's already done for you biggrin.gif
