How can I watch skysports HD channels in Kodi..I am only managed to watch it in SD

Sifu, need your guide here even though the instructions on the link are quite clear;
1. do we need to install IPTV stalker first?
2. After following the guide above, can we watch IPTV Stalker from the "TV" option at main screen?

Need some further guidance on how to go about this setup and really appreciate for your help.

u must hv iptv stalker installed first. then do ivue or renegades to draw on the channels of iptv stalker.

the question is whether it will work if you install iptv stalker now rather than had it before and working earlier.

try it, let us know!


note:

iptv stalker is a video addon, no longer functional since it has gone paid service.

the idea of ivue or renegades is to use a program to "retrieve" what is left in iptv stalker addon installed and still get it to work via an alternative route. sorry if i don't use the right terms to explain it.

Hehe, i like to add and try new addons and overtime my kodi has lots of addons lying around. These addons come n go and sometimes work and sometimes doesn't. Even after uninstall these addons i do get error like py script or something. Yup, iVue is preconfigured and i like it very much. i even join the iVue developer fb groups and he always post updates on the groups.

About the SilenceROM, i got bored with the default kodi install and I'm not that good at customizing and adding links, shortcuts etc and most importantly, most of my preferred addons comes standard with SilenceROM so instead of doing everything from scratch, SilenceROm is my answer. It just saves my time.

Might not be everyone cup of tea but it works for me. Btw, anyone here knows what addons that has the most stable and good channels for beIN sports 1 - beIN Sports 15? I tried Teledunet but no joy, Operation Robocop Ultimate but it doesn't always work. World IPTV has it but not that reliable either.

1. Yes (before or after , should be same). But to be safe, better install first.

3. Auto loaded

Note:- After installation and setup done, run Ivue from the Program option in the Home screen. The IVue screen will present the Stalker Channels with EPG (some not accurate). When Channels are selected, IPTV Stalker addon will automatically take over and load the channels. If other addons you have previously installed happen to contain the same channels as IPTV Stalker, you will be given the option to select which addon to load the stream.

Reminder:- Don't forget to select the IPTV Stalker config option during setup as mentioned by the instructions at the website. In fact, don't miss any of the instructions.

There's Bein Sports 1-15 links present in Renegades but need to setup manually. I am not sure if they correspond to IPTV Stalker Sports 1-20 (Stalker doesn't have names for these channels). I don't think they are.

Maybe you could use the SilenceRom to install Renegades+addons and see if the addons loads Bein Sports.

Not easy to find HD sports channels. Even if you find some HD channels, what you see on the screen not really true HD.

There are but you need to fork out some $ - some 720 and some 1080

We here (me especially) too cheapskate for paid services . Free SD will do for now

Yup there are in Renegades and iVue also has it (need to choose US/UK inside xmltv settings). Just need to find reliable source for it. Or maybe the ones inside Operation Robocop are good already but wouldn't play properly and reliable just because my internet at home is slow (screamyx 4Mbps )

Don't get your hopes too high yet. Since the few mths I have been viewing ASS 1-3 on IPTV Stalker, the streams often go down , sometimes few hrs, sometimes few days , before they reappear

that is correct, ASS is not reliable. the rest are OK.
