QUOTE(z3r0717 @ Jul 7 2007, 06:54 AM) exactly, always see that with some pretty nice looking WoW t-shirt too. Thank god im not interested in MMO. Unless there are new kinds such MMO-actionRPG or prolly something like World of Conflict, then that could be my taste. |

Im opting for Reclusa now. G15 is just too expensive. I want something that is solid and have backlight. I like Tarantula design too bad it dont have backlight.

I wish am in Malaysia. Im way out from Malaysia and the cheaper (like alot) i can have is reclusa than G15. I could have cheaper G15 but that might be a 2nd hand one.
Added on July 12, 2007, 6:47 pmSeen some review, i like g15 better now. The only problem is my keyboard slider (my table) is right below the table surface. So i might not have the advantage of using the LCD. hhmmm i heard reclusa isnt that bad but still have lots of room to improve. What do u guys suggest? Let me know if u need to see the desk setup if ur dont understand what I was talking about the keyboard slider. This post has been edited by derred: Jul 12 2007, 06:47 PM |

QUOTE(SpikeTwo @ Jul 12 2007, 10:38 AM) keyboard slider is always uncomfortable. lol...well, at least from those that i've seen. I recommend? G15. yeah, tons of complains and such. but so far, I find logitech support much better and havent heard of any major issues on the G15 other than the color thingy. thanx for the info. So what is about the color thingy? I thot new model dont have that. Im thinking g15 for now. Tarantula sucks with no backlight. I know about the Prototype but white doesnt fit my workstation plus i bet it doesnt have backlight. And i dont think it docks iPhone unless iPhone is using the same port as nano or iPod video. In fact, slider wont let i dock anything.same goes for other products, they will have loads of complains. Head over to razerblueprints.net or microsoft hardware forums, you will know what i mean. hehe... btw, list updated. so SpikeTwo or anyone else, what do u guys suggest? I would like both bias and non-bias comment. It is not wrong to comment based on own experience or belief but i do appreciate non-bias comments as everything, i mean everything has pro and cons. Just which pros and cons fit more in our life or lifestyle. peace. |

ahpek26,
great point there. There are time which keyboard response time is crucial. Probably not during typing but during some serious gaming, it does matter some of ppl. As im no pro gamers or such, I dont care if i die bcoz of keyboard lagginess. Who give a crap bout that? Some pros or kiasu-amateurs do at least. ps: I myself on bluetooth keyboard. It does lag sometimes and lag during those "crucial" in-game time. Heck I never complain bout it and i opting for better keyboard now just for reserved so if my clan needs me for serious matters like tourney or scrims, I wont be the reason that our team lost. it is more like want it or not I need it eventually. Might get it now. I can use 3 keyboard (the laptop, bluetooth and the one im going to buy) at a time so who give a crap rite? as long as im comfy with it. This bluetooth keyboard could be a remote keyboard for movie viewing and such while the future keyboard will be for serious matters. |

QUOTE(blacktrix @ Jul 28 2007, 11:03 AM) I'm not concerned about the lights (more like lack of), but I AM concern about typing..... I read some reviews that say the G15 is pretty good at typing, but Razer is VERY good at it because of the anti-ghosting thing...... can anyone confirm this? If u notice, Im opting for one like long time ago and still have not decide on any yet. I like Tarantula, the only drawback is the light, it needs the battledock or wuteva to "light" the key which is not effective for my use. I dont want anything like flashlight but I prefer backlight. Im holding for either G15 or reclusa. I thought of the Razer Pro|Solutions Pro|Type keyboard, but if you see the condition of my what was once keyboard...... you can see why I want something in a dark color...... Whats interesting that I would like to know is, can both of em enable backlight according to some keys depending on the gaming profile. What I mean by that is, say that I wanna play cs, can I make only WASD + space + Ctrl + etc backlight enabled and keep others "unlight"? Thank you in advance. |

sup sniper, im also in the market for one. Mind to share any info? Do you mind backlight, Razer works, looks nice but the only drawback it used kinda "torchlight" based light, not backlight on the keys.
Other than that i would say G15 will be on the top of the list but someone mention a brand new one is coming out so i'll wait for that i think.. or new razer ?!?! |

It depends on the user to decide who's the loser. No matter how good ur keyboard is, doesn't justify how good in-game u r. I bet some of stupidass keyboard players out there can beat any game u play with their eye closed. Until then u don't know who's the losers.
And oh, I don't own Saitek to defend em or any kind, nor I will buy em ever. It's just sad when hearing ppl degrade something because of cost or brand. It's just immature and not fair. |

leave that z350z kid alone.
Kids are annoying these days. I used to be pissed of his kind, but not anymore. I bet hes still underage so let him be. and oh, I have been dealing with him too, since the saitek, how could a product decide whether ur a loser or not hah. |

tarantula sucks bcoz no backlight. A huge drawback. Between those two, Reclusa will be much better IMO. Waiting for new G15, so old G15 price will drop. Or maybe they stop producing it, then it's sold out. If that the case, Im f'kd.
I bet new one must have few features that improved from the old one, but I like blue backlight more than orange. Maybe it switchable orange blue red wuteva. Still have to wait no matter what.. |
