For those who've replaced battery at the service centre before, how long did it take? I don't want to go through hell again like the camera module fiasco. Hahaha.

Gotten back on same day, take roughly 4 hours but this is not warranty but pay to replace.

Wow. So you just walk in and replace? That's not bad turnaround time. Lol. How much did it cost?

Yup, i just walk in. around RM150 +- if im not wrong, include 3 month warranty on the battery. Btw, if you damn sure is battery problem just tell them is battery problem, last time the worker there keep tell me might be charging port/motherboard/etc etc. So, just insist is battery problem.

Same here. Gave up and there is news suggesting AsusTek might be buying up HTC.

http://blink.htcsense.com/web/articleweb.a...icleid=43198383

Phones now, I wont go over 2K if possible. Huawei and Asus I might take up next

Agreed. Too bad they both denied those rumors. HTC seems to be trying something new during the second half of the year, let's see how it goes. But for me, I doubt I'll stay in this camp lol.

Personally the Chinese manufacturers besides HTC are trying their best to amp up the game. I can see Huawei prepping concept stores all over Malaysia. Asus is doing well too with their Zenfone 2 lineup.

Ah...speaking of which, Sammy phones seems to have super price drops within few months after launch, soon it's possible to get S6 at under 2K. For me, I'll still wait for Note 5, but gonna wait till the price drops to below 2K lol.

Agreed. Apple has superior after sales service. For me I just can't leave Android and most importantly cough up that much cash, especially when the true iPhone is 64GB, the 16GB is like a demo unit with such a small storage space. If you have the money and already using iPads/Macs, it's a natural choice. smile.gif

Lets see how it goes. Time will tell and I still contemplating to change my battery to see how long more it can last before it completely dies on me.

I've actually complained on HTC official page (not Malaysia) page and 2 days time a CS agent called me. She can't even answer how much would the battery cost then.. I of course grilled her and apologies to her later as it is only fair as she has to follow these stupid standard "procedure" answers.

She said the battery need to wait 2 weeks for it to arrive and it's so disappointing to know that an old Flagship phone they do not stock up on parts. Ridiculous!

Anyhow, total cost for it would be under RM200. Which RM80 is diagnostic cost and RM11x.xx I think for the battery coz it was last week she called me.

Mmhm. I'll hold out too I guess. Most likely I will consider doing that after I replace this phone. Powerbanks are so cheap in comparison I don't mind charging every now and then. A friend of mine replaced his and it didn't really help much given the small battery size in the first place.

Hi, any One M9+ user here? I'm actually torn between LG G4 and HTC One M9+. So, I just wanna know that how's the battery life and camera on the One M9+, and are there any annoying cons?

Thanks.

Just dont buy HTC at all. Their after sales service and customer service is the worst. My phone with the camera purple tint is not solved. Its ONE year already.

They promised alot of things but its all empty cans.

Even a demand to speak to their Manager/Country Manager falls on deaf ears. Its a SHAME that they dont entertain customers request.

Best part is that they asked me to send the phone back to their service centre for a second diagnosis of the problem. Even a blind man can see that their camera is faulty (send first time way back in July 2014, came back end of april 2015, still same purple shit)

And the HTC Careline said that will expedite the service, but have to wait until August because waiting for parts. Parts cant fly from Taiwan kah?

DONT BUY HTC ANYMORE!!

May I know which service center did you go to for this? Is it then one in Berjaya Times Square or Lowyat plaza? 4 hours seem very fast compared to their normal standard.

HTC Service center at Berjaya Times Square took 40 days to change motherboard for previous HTC One M7. Simply unbelievable. Samsung just need 1-2 days to do it !! I had to pay RM700 for it as phone rooted !
All calls to chase was always being pushed from one to another party. Gave up even chasing and just wait for their call phone ready for collection !!

That's right!!! All they say they will follow up and will expedite it. If want to expedite, you can do it in 2 days. This one expedite need 2 weeks.

Its like you are calling their customer service instead of they service you, you are actually working for them since they dont even have any updates, you are the one who is chasing them.

What a shame from HTC.

Time to boycott HTC.

Tell that to everyone. Spread the love.

Are you sending for warranty? Or yours already finish warranty?

You can ask them when you send them, for mine they got 2 different story, the first worker was telling me not sure if is battery fault, need check then need to see if got spare parts, etc etc...then I just tell him, I know its battery problem and I gonna just pay for battery then he say ok, but not sure how long can be done. After that another worker beside ask me HTC one m7? and confirm only battery problem? If only change battery can come back in around 4 hours. In around 3 hours+ they call me to come collect d.

For my first time sending for warranty, I got shit service like others too, send for 1 months + everyday call to follow up till one morning Customer service told me I can go collect, when i reach there, the worker tell me not ready yet need few more days, I make noise on the spot and talked to their manager + the CS person that ask me come and collect, in the end they say next day for sure will ready, so i came back next day and able to collect. This gonna be my last HTC phone, especially their service center in PJ close down its much more troublesome for me to send to KL sweat.gif sweat.gif
