At last after 1 year, Send my phone to warranty for purple tint + sim card issues and what surprise me is that I purchase at May last year but when check at service center, my warranty is until end of this month and the service center personnel promise me to fix within one week, still waiting for call now

your device now currently unlock and S-off? if I'm not wrong as long as your CID is correct then it should be fine. Last week I return my HTC one to stock too and I did not compare MID and only CID. Later after my work, I try to get the RUU for you, forget which one I downloaded, need check back my browser history.

I use EXE, make sure you have Hboot 1.44, S-OFF and CID that require. In download page they will list out the requirement, if all met then should not be a problem.

Find RUU that support 1.56, If I'm not wrong, a later version of RUU does not require 1.44. The time I restore it to the earliest RUU. Try this .exe

CID & MID match yours, so should not be a problem.

any error message or log? Easier to identify the cause of failing if you have the log/error message.

S-Off, the flow I use to restore back to stock is as below :

*my phone before restore back to stock is unlocked, s-off, root and with default CID: HTC__044

- download the correct RUU
- Run the RUU.exe and follow all onscreen instruction
- After successfully running RUU.exe, make sure your custom recovery is remove and returned to stock
- Since my hboot still 1.44, I pushed revone into my phone and perform the following step
- remove tampered flag (*if you done this step last time when you S-OFF, can skip this step)
- relock bootloader
- change from s-off to s-on
- reboot to bootloader and make sure it show *LOCKED* and S-ON without Tampered word
- remove revone


Since your hboot is 1.56, I dont think you can use revone.

No error code? If got error code, try search within the topic in XDA see if anyone encounter the same.

Last time when you success, you are on which ROM? Stock, ViperONE, ARHD or others? and for HBOOT 1.56, its not a confirm success to S-OFF using rumrunner or firewater. If you haven try FireWater, try to google "FireWater Hboot1.56 HTC one S-OFF".

what you do? If you achieve S-Off by right very hard to brick the device. Try connect to your laptop/PC see if ADB able to detect your device.

I think you can fix this, just read a topic in XDA with similar case as yours, what he do is changing usb port and try the RUU.exe again.

Same here, but I think for m7 user, their poetic case most likely out of warranty d.

Did you unlock your bootloader? If you did, try to see if can access recovery or plug into your PC see if adb can detect your device.

Dont think I have the receipt haha, last time I initiate the bulk order in this thread for poetic case and go through one dealer, so those that go through this bulk order does not have receipt except going back to the dealer.

dont think any more case similar style like poetic, last time search for quite long for nice casing but only poetic catches my attention but sadly poetic does not really last long.

Hey, haha still using M7. Just send for warranty last 2 week, since for not sure what reason my warranty extended 3 months, but till now no news on getting back yet, called them > 4 times and they promise today I will get back my device, so lets see how

HTC service center and customer service is a joke, service center personnel told me can collect within 1 week, and now had been 3 weeks plus I have a flight today, and they promise that I can collect last Friday then drag to Today (Monday) morning, and I call them still unable to collect.

My next phone will never from HTC anymore

Guess what, worst thing happen today. I guess they f*** up my phone when repair, customer service told me able to collect anytime, so I went at around 9.30AM, waited there for 30 mins, and a worker bring a bunch of phone out and none of it is mine the front desk call the worker inside and they say my phone is not ready to collect so on the spot I call their customer service and argue with them, a lady ask me to pass my phone to the front desk and after few discussion their reply is "Sorry, the fastest you can collect would be 4.30pm today" and the front desk tell me cause my phone unable to On so they require more time but guess what? When I send to them its all working fine except sim tray and purple tint, I even show him the service report written there only this 2 problem and now they tell me my phone cannot on, so need more time to test and repair In the end, I cant collect my phone and Im flying in 2 hour from that time, and I ask them to courier to my house so my parent can collect it. When I'm back if my phone is quite F*** up, gonna go argue with them again.

This is my worst experience ever encounter in Customer Service

PJ Brightstar...its best you get phone no. of service center and communicate with them. Dont communicate throught the number printed in your service report, they have communication problem between each other. Apprantly, when I'm argueing with them, there is another customer come and collect his M7 and he said he waited for around 4 weeks and gave them call every few day but still same outcome. Most importantly, ask for the customer service personnel name on phone with you, so you know who you can direct to when they promise something.
