I subscribed the preview of kids pack, it gave me 1 month.

how to get it?

is njoi including HD service? thinking to save more cost as only my mum watching the Hua Hee Dai channel, and sometimes kids channel for my niece.

Can I convert my current astro subscribption to njoi?

Since you're already on Astro, and you also want to have HD, then the cheapest option you can go for is this (all prices excludes SST):
Starter Pack with New Emperor = RM61.32/month
Then, add 1 mini pack (which is Kids pack) costs RM12

Note:
- Starter pack is actually Family Pack but it bundled with HD service, so no need to subscribe and pay HD service separately, and also includes vernacular pack (for your case, go for Chinese one, which is New Emperor pack).
All these bundled into one monthly price, which is RM61.32 (RM65 incl SST).
- Kids Pack includes Nickelodeon (612/632), Disney Junior (613/633), Disney Channel (615/635) and Cartoon Network (616/636).
Meanwhile, these 3 channels: Astro Ceria (611/631), Astro Xiao Tai Yang (325/304) and Disney XD (637) are included in Family pack, so you can still watch these 3 kids channels even if you don't feel like adding RM12 for the Kids pack.
- Just in case you don't know, New Emperor pack includes Astro Hua Hee Dai, and also these channels:


Total: RM61.32 + RM12 = RM77.70 incl SST

Once you're on this Starter pack, you'll have 6 months contract. If you cancel Starter pack before contract period ends, penalty of RM100 will be charged.

The price you see online, it's actually an online exclusive promo. You can sign it up here:

The online promo is, you can get additional RM7 rebate for 24 months. After 24 months, no more rebate, it will go from RM58 to RM65 per month incl SST.
So if add either Kids pack or New Emperor, it costs extra RM12.72 incl SST (RM12 before SST).

In conclusion, if you sign up online:

The catch is, if you get this online promo, the package contract period will be 24 months instead of 6 months contract like what I mentioned earlier, the non-discounted RM65 Starter Pack.

If not mistaken, you'll need to pay a conversion fee and there are no monthly fees for selected channel.... If you want more channels you can purchase some prepaid channel if you want too

Sub account not sure. U need to check with Astro.

If main account, confirm the existing box can be converted to njoi. Meaning no need to reinstall new satellite disc and setup box.

Conversion fee is rm50 nett.

Conversion can be done by just giving them a call.

It will take 5 working days or more for the conversion to be done.

Do note that njoi is a limited Astro service so it does not have all channels that normal Astro package offers.

If u are like me that u do not want to pay so much monthly for paid TV and the channel u want to watch can be found inside njoi prepaid channel list then it is really worth it.

I cut down my expenses Rm113++ to now rm15 per month only. And I did not lose out much. So the saving is great for me.

Lol that's because you / your family just need to watch TVB Xing He channel, so of cos reduce from RM113+ to RM15/month does saves a lot.
Btw you use what reload method to topup? Online? Or buy reload card at convenient stores? Is it easy for you to reload it?

Super easy to reload. Just reload online under my Astro account page.

Can just keep money inside account and let the subscription rolls automatically via the auto renewal. Technically it can works like postpaid also. Can save the credit card for easy payment also.

And Astro system update only takes 1 Sec.

The moment I purchase the ad-on with successfully payment. The next sec the channel appears on my tv. Super instant.

Then that's great you still can access VOD content..

Errr nope.
The PVR box will work just like the usual HD box.
Although it supports functions like recording, watch VOD content, all those are disabled once you're on Njoi subscription, making those functions to become useless.
