It’s bind to the decoder and smart card as it’s an Astro byond(HD decoder) just with NJOI logo on it

So, does atog just increase from 2 to 4 but maintain account binding ? as you siad they remove it right now ? Anyway no one even register before atog for the account , maybe can ask to change the email but does the channel basic channel or follow the User subscription or follow njoi where you can buy new channel ?
nope , no more Njoi or Astr0. Yeh ,last time media prime channel all analog , change the antenna or add booster still not receiving a good signal.Now all DVB-T2 is much better and if you have unifi also all free. Thought of installing for elderly for a cheaper price but it looks like it's much better for the apps but need to teach on how to operate.Btw , the atog smooth ? any lag half way ?
Depends on internet connection, used it in a hotel room for almost a week, depends on speed and if the sever is even working properly( no issue with live but with VOD contents)
I will try and borrow someones account and test.Just wondering at hotel room you use their wifi ? have you ever try to mirror screen to the tv or any smart tv ? will it work ?
If you are trying to mirror your pc via hdmi, then yes, If you are trying to mirror via hdmi on your phone/tablet, it would give an error Didn’t try wirelessly mirroring it I’m using my own WiFi, hotel WiFi isn’t usable

Astro go now doesn’t need plugin to run anymore, it’s adaptive streaming, and depends on your internet connection

Thanks for the reply.Trying to mirror wireless using phone/tablet to LED TV.Since I haven't borrow the account i haven't really test but previously atog need plugin https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/a...khcckdhod?hl=en I will try on an account first later will report back on stremyx speed.I remember on PC there is a way to choose 480, 720 or 1080p not sure on atog.
Not anymore as Astro go now auto-selects for you based your connection, since the new UI, no plugin is needed anymore and you can't select the quality

Nope, you'll stay logged in no matter what until you click log out.... but I do remember about the " inactivity error" that's still there but it takes you back to the home screen only

Still a NO GO for me, picture frame and sound rhythm not synchronous. When first play it usually in-sync but after 2-3 mins starts 1st buffering then become not synchronous. Refresh page same thing happen again and again. Watched AXN damn frustrated picture scene already happened > 10 seconds ago only sound emits, have to muted volume to watch a full movie. Don't tell me I'm using Maxis 30Mbps still slow? Watch other video streaming like youtube was smooth.
weird..... I was able to watch on maxis 30 Mbps smoothly, maybe try incognito mode( with no extension) and see if it's still the same, also try running a speed test to verify that you actually got 30 Mbps( you may not get 30 Mbps over wifi if you are too far away from the router)

If not mistaken, you'll need to pay a conversion fee and there are no monthly fees for selected channel.... If you want more channels you can purchase some prepaid channel if you want too
According to this seller, tvN Movies channel is now part of Njoi prepaid channel, but you can't subscribe directly on CH 200 that easily. You can only get it through agent atau Astro Njoi dealer only. I wonder what tricks is Astro/Njoi trying to do
Can NJOI even receive that channel in the 1st place because Astro and NJOI apparently have different channel list, one channel that isn’t available(doesn’t exist in NJOI) is CH300
Darn, didn't know this. I've installed Astro NJOI for all my properties that I rent out. Would be weird if it's just a TV only. Thus, I added Astro NJOI for all of them. And recently my tenant informed me that Astro NJOI not working (rent for almost a year, didn't ask about NJOI. Once MCO start, then suddenly ask).
Wonder what's the period for them to deactivate. If they are doing it just for making sure database is updated, I think it should only be done once or twice a year.
if it's not on for 15 days then it will deactivate, but you can activate back

If your Astro or Njoi box is left powered off for too long (>14 days), a message of "We apologise for the service interruption." will confirm appear, and it tells you to SMS this to reactivate back. You are very likely to face difficulties to reactivate the set-top-box at this point of time, particularly during this MCO period.
I strongly advice you guys to power it up right now if you plan to watch it anytime soon, doesn't matter if you're using Astro or Njoi box. It is okay to leave your Astro box powered on 24/7, it won't burn off or cause fire (don't listen to those grandfather/grandmother stories), but remember to put it to standby mode whenever you're not watching. Of course, make sure your Astro box is placed in a well ventilated area.

Meanwhile for legacy Astro/Njoi boxes.... Translation: Your Njoi box is unable to support Fox Sports CH835-837, Eurosport CH840 (starting 16 Nov), and Astro SuperSports CH831-834 (starting 30 Nov). Please log on to goshop.my/z/36 to purchase the HD box and continue enjoy the service in HD.
Translation: "You are unable to access to Astro First CH480 as you are using the old model of Astro decoder."
At least we can see some "obvious progress" of the end of Astro legacy box
And erm, Njoi users are encouraged to spend money on them monthly, cuz they are desperate for revenue.
