How do I install Njoi ah?

Just bought NJOI HD decoder and plugged-in to my 40" TV using HDMI, parent complain the image quality seems worsen compared to previous older SD decoder using 3 color component cables. Not sure is it due to the 1080i interlace? I think previous SD decoder was on 576p resolution if I'm recall correctly...

Try change the Sharpness setting on your TV Picture settings to 0 (zero).
Legacy Astro SD boxes are 576i, HD boxes are 1080i (as of now).

I have just recently install Njoi and was looking at to purchase sport pack. For 30 days the cost is RM99 and get all HD sports channel. How do I know whether my decoder is able to play HD? All new NJOI decoder are HD ready?

Possible to use and move my parent njoi decoder in ipoh to my apartment in jb? Can I move, plug to my centralised satelit point? My apartment has a centralize Astro satellite.

If you can't get any signal after connecting it to the centralise antenna, even the cable are correctly connected, then try change the Installation Settings >Satellite Settings

Input Type make sure it's Universal or DCSS, depending on the LNB type used in your apartment at JB. But if u can get signal as usual, then no need to bother these things.. Just enjoy watching will do

how much does a new njoi box cost ? the previously send to astr0 said spoil no signal need to change one but price => RM300.

Don't bother the "Njoi Prepaid" thing, unless you're interested to pay extra money to subscribe to its prepaid channels.
They just want to encourage people to spend money on subscribing prepaid channels.

If you wish to watch digital TV, you can use back your UHF antenna (Recommended: outdoor UHF aerial) and cabling (Recommended: RG-6 coaxial cable type) as long it is good in condition.
Except indoor antenna, do make sure you remove any signal boosters (masthead amplifier) and cable splitter used in between the connection from your TV to outdoor UHF antenna.
There's 2 ways for you to proceed:

1) Buy a brand new TV (so that you don't need to rely on digital TV box, and can connect the cable directly from antenna to TV)
2) Buy DVB-T2 digital TV converter box, which you can easily purchase online:

You can purchase Sirius TV (that cost only RM299) with no contract and no subscriptions fees at all.
Coming soon start to launch on 1 Nov on-wards.
I believe those are include the local channels.

Not all local terrestrial free-to-air channels will available on Sirius TV.

But Sirius TV's set top box (STB) would come with S2+T2 combo, where user can connect both satellite and UHF antenna to the same box, so that users can also watch myFreeview digital TV channels on the same box.

Hi, new to NJOI here, wonder if AEC HD available in NJOI free channels? It's so pixelated watching with HD tv.

Astro AEC HD is only available for Astro subscribers, and Njoi viewers have no way to watch that channel in HD, not even prepaid, for now.
Meaning, you got to have monthly subscription by converting to Astro to watch Astro AEC in HD.
