I use GNex. Still got people ask "what brand is that? never saw". I just said this is Nexus..Google phone made by Samsung. Then they all like "if made by samsung, why never saw at samsung shop or any other phone shop. not popular?". I was like "yeaaa..."  sweat.gif

First ask yourself if you are light, medium or heavy user. Then decide from there Light User > 16 GB, Medium, Heavy User > 32GB.

At least for now if im not mistaken price difference is around 200 bucks or less, why not go for 32GB and ease your mind of not having enough storage worry. icon_rolleyes.gif

It seems like there is battery drain during idle according to dev in 0.30 so he recommended staying with .26 for now

I personally did not see any drain but felt a lot snappier... biggrin.gif

Previously he had the announcement on top of the thread (right after I flashed latest nightly + 0.29) but he removed it just recently. No wonder he didn't put the latest one on the OP. And here I was gonna give it a go.

Is the S2W function drain battery? Mine drop about 5% for 2 hours idle... is that normal?

I use the power button dongle to disable it before I go to sleep. can't really judge your case is normal or abnormal, it's very subjective and depend what you have on your phone. suggest you compare with and without S2W battery usage, might be more accurate.

for screen off/sleep i prefer the hardware method, use magnetic cover as N5 has magnet sensor

I use S2W/S2S daily ( except during sleep ), it seems normal to me. I had 5% per hour drop with S2W/S2S on, connected to Wifi with Google Now enabled and auto sync enabled, light usage.

How to flash the slimkat without adb or toolkit..

The instruction must wipe data also, so if the rom zip copied earlier will be deleted too.

" In recovery make a full wipe as per these instructions:
In TWRP choose advanced in wipe section and wipe dalvik cache, cache, system and data. "

Can i just copy the zip to a reserved folder without being wiped?

data =/= storage

just wipe normal, don't need to go advanced settings. the normal wipe in TWRP is enough for you to flash another ROM.
