from Lenovo acquired Motorolo Mobility from Google news, I can see that Google early idea which is product for Americans made in USA are failed. if you guys remember Nexus Q, which is the product made in USA, and later Moto X also made in USA; the labor cost made in USA is triple than China labor charge, and not gonna be nice to sustains for long run.

LG already awarded for 2 gen of nexus, time to switch other vendor. previously most of ppl guess Sony, but though this news, Lenovo gonna be once of candidate too now and might be last nexus brand's vendor, according:

Lenovo not only have mtk chipset device, also having Qualcomm and Intel SoC devices too. just target in different range of pricing categories.

to anyone who love nexus but not planning to get or skip nexus 5, then must get 2014 nexus as last ever model which is will be kill in 2015, if the rumor are true.

yes, I'm. your question just same as those ppl using Note2 charger. as per understanding, it's safe. our device just withdraw the power require. Why original wireless charger is higher than phone wired bundled charger, because the wireless charging sure have some little power loss in between or gap. as long as good quality charger or original bundled, won't damage your battery.

battery number 1 killer is heat. don't use your phone while charging is the best. you may install CPU, Battery temperature tool if you care your battery. just stop using phone or shut down when overheat.

Google Play Service drain a lot, I disable keep awake and location. no problem, location service still works. WiFi on and Auto Sync, over night, average 2%-5% drop.

yes, volume rocker to wake up the screen.
without physical button, have more choice:
1. double tap to wake (aka knock on).
2. swipe from left to right the screen to wake up.
3. those using cover flip casing, can try smart cover app, which is using the ALS to detect the flip open or close.
4. buy flip cover with magnet feature

Yes, I'm in hybrid mixed of both usage. reason: digitizer active all the time, of course drain some battery, while frequent use of physical button might causing buttons wear out as your afraid. the best is get the balance between this 2. daytime I used double tap to wake and press the power button to toggle disable it during my sleeping time or long idle time specially damm busy on working. when I wake up in the morning, power button or volume rocker to turn on the screen and swipe to sleep again....



since you just factory reset, try again one more time. last resort, you might consider manual flash the rom if you confirm your gmail account no issue + no issue on your own network.

why put in the root of N5? just save in internal memory or sdcard direction will do.

SlimKat haven't add this features yet. you can manually edit from build.prop or some apps assistant.

no, nova have much much more customization than pure android launcher.
