QUOTE(bugb34r @ Jan 31 2014, 08:21 PM) But Lenovo design so ugly. from Lenovo acquired Motorolo Mobility from Google news, I can see that Google early idea which is product for Americans made in USA are failed. if you guys remember Nexus Q, which is the product made in USA, and later Moto X also made in USA; the labor cost made in USA is triple than China labor charge, and not gonna be nice to sustains for long run. LG already awarded for 2 gen of nexus, time to switch other vendor. previously most of ppl guess Sony, but though this news, Lenovo gonna be once of candidate too now and might be last nexus brand's vendor, according: Eldar Murtazin QUOTE Lenovo will launch one of the last Nexus product volume will be huge and it will be focused on US market. QUOTE Nexus line by Google is over in 2015 Yes - this line will be replaced by Play Edition (current name, it will be rebranded) sos

to anyone who love nexus but not planning to get or skip nexus 5, then must get 2014 nexus as last ever model which is will be kill in 2015, if the rumor are true.
everyone ask Google why? because of Samsung's concern. might be once of the condition request from Samsung, over Google and Samsung cross patents agreement in next 10 years.

QUOTE(C-Note @ Feb 1 2014, 02:03 AM) K thx will try later. Oh BTW, anyone using Google official wireless charger? Is it safe to charge directly with the cable instead of wirelessly? It says 1.8A. The official charger that came with the phone is only 1.2A. What's the recommended power for charging to not do any damage to the battery? yes, I'm. your question just same as those ppl using Note2 charger. as per understanding, it's safe. our device just withdraw the power require. Why original wireless charger is higher than phone wired bundled charger, because the wireless charging sure have some little power loss in between or gap. as long as good quality charger or original bundled, won't damage your battery. battery number 1 killer is heat. don't use your phone while charging is the best. you may install CPU, Battery temperature tool if you care your battery. just stop using phone or shut down when overheat.

QUOTE(C-Note @ Feb 1 2014, 09:50 AM) thx for the reply! now it makes sense haha anyway, i used the insanely battery saver when idle to disable certain parts of gsf. Battery dropped 7% only after 7 hours(whole night)) with 3g and locations services turned on. is that considered ok? actually does location services still work? i mean its part of google services right? Google Play Service drain a lot, I disable keep awake and location. no problem, location service still works. WiFi on and Auto Sync, over night, average 2%-5% drop. QUOTE(mudkipryan94 @ Feb 1 2014, 10:22 AM) Yippe... love my SlimKat rom liao Damn awesomeness man... haha... I already fall in love with SlimKat since beta2.4...

QUOTE(shawnlst @ Feb 1 2014, 05:20 PM) Hi guys. This is my first android phone and I'm glad with my choice ...pardon me for my noob question. Is there other ways to wake/turn on the screen from sleep mode other than pressing the power on/off button? yes, volume rocker to wake up the screen. without physical button, have more choice: 1. double tap to wake (aka knock on). 2. swipe from left to right the screen to wake up. 3. those using cover flip casing, can try smart cover app, which is using the ALS to detect the flip open or close. 4. buy flip cover with magnet feature

QUOTE(shawnlst @ Feb 1 2014, 05:51 PM) I'm basically on stock phone...unrooted, stock ROM. Do you guys use these functions? Or use physical button? I'm just afraid too much use of the buttons will wear them out. Yes, I'm in hybrid mixed of both usage. reason: digitizer active all the time, of course drain some battery, while frequent use of physical button might causing buttons wear out as your afraid. the best is get the balance between this 2. daytime I used double tap to wake and press the power button to toggle disable it during my sleeping time or long idle time specially damm busy on working. when I wake up in the morning, power button or volume rocker to turn on the screen and swipe to sleep again.... QUOTE(ihsansyairazyy @ Feb 1 2014, 06:01 PM) Yup. Can sign in with PC. But all the time this appear since you just factory reset, try again one more time. last resort, you might consider manual flash the rom if you confirm your gmail account no issue + no issue on your own network.
