I always in custom rom, so I usually dirty flash only (lazy )
1. download slimkat zip from pc then transfer to phone
2. restart phone in recovery mode
3. flash slimkat zip, Gapps if newer, flash my fav kernel, flash moto x Dalvik+bionic library, then wipe dalvik/cache
4. reboot when all process done.

if something went wrong, redo again from step 2 but add factory reset before flash. << hardly happen....

Long time didnt do this advanced wipe, but if remember correctly, wiping data DOESNT erase your storage. That's mean your folder of music/photos/zip will be safe, as long it's not inside specific apps's folder.

Doesn't matter. Both are just the same. Just don't peel off the protective film. I did that and the outer part scratch up so badly.

If take a lot of pic or video or games, you better take 32gb.

The only feature i miss is close all recent programs except running one.

However, slimkat slimcenter is nice ! Time to slim down.

Have had my Nexus 5 since early November, using it naked alongside a naked iPhone 5. The Nexus 5 is nice but it's definitely not as durable as the iPhone 5, the glass and back are both noticeably scratched within 1 month while the iPhone was pristine. Don't remember the Nexus 4 being this manja although I hated the Nexus 4 for other reasons.

But the price was cheap and performance is excellent. Battery life is surprisingly good too.

Too slim? It does add the bulkiness though. The back of Neo Hybrid won't expand due to heat right?
