Guys about the camera mod 1.4 by Jishnu @ XDA. I took 2 same picture with stock and modded one. The stock one file size is 1.64mb and the modded one 0.94. Shouldnt it be better ?

Guys, what's the best car mount for Nexus 5? The one that available locally or maybe from any website that's able to ship to Malaysia.

I found this in indiegogo, not cheap... but this really hassle free with Qi charging and magnetic holding.
you may refer here, airdock

sadly, this campaign just ended, maybe you can preorder it...
happy hunting.

1. Both pretty good in terms of battery life and performance. But franco is having memory leak issue atm, where the memory used is not being flushed properly, resulting in less free ram available after few days of usage. Reboot solved the issue. That is, stick with elementalx atm

2. Touch control do significantly eat your battery
Which one u prefer : power button protection or battery lifespan protection? nod.gif

Didn't notice any issue with franco after using for 1-2weeks. And from the reviews from both kernel thread in xda, they are both having good battery lifes, but one thing that attracts my attention is that one of the guy from elementalx thread claims that he had 2 % drain over 8 hour with dt2w/s2w or touch control on. That is very tempting.

You can try WugFresh Toolkit, all instructions are there and it is pretty easy. I unlock and root mine that way.

Bear in mind that you need to unlock the bootloader first only can root. Once you unlock your bootloader, all your internal storage stuff will be gone so beware of this. So it is most recommended to unlock your bootloader first when you got your phone, to prevent unnecessary disappointment later on when you want to root your phone. thumbup.gif

I used to have fun with my phone, where I swipe to next page at launcher as fast as possible, so far until Nexus 4, finger wins. Then comes Nexus 5, that beats my finger tongue.gif

The caller ID most likely works on US number only.

S2W/DT2W will increase battery drain by little for sure. If on elementalX, could simply press power button to disable s2w/s2s.

I did have the memory leak issue with r33 and r34. I have an average amount of installed apps and im being pretty cautious with apps running in background.

Also had touchcontrol installed with franco previously, but uninstalled it due to insane battery drain

Im now with elementalx, but with touch2wake, s2wake etc turned off. You dont need touchcontrol app with elementalx, just enable it via aroma or trickstemod app.

Well, u can try that urself. And dont forget to report it here, as i do like the feature nod.gif

Is it fine for the thread to exceed the allocated posts?
If it is, then someone should step up.
