Has anyone checked your y50 warranty? Mine has no base warranty on the laptop.

user posted image

I purchase the RM165 warranty extension version and fail to register y50 extended warranty. Then my seller said lenovo has came out with a special-only-y50 warranty extention card. Is it true? Any y50 owner has warranty issue?

Normally, we can register 3 yrs onsite warranty on-line with correct expiration date. Wonder they have change the procedure. hmm.gif
Try to call Lenovo support for confirmation. smile.gif

u can upgrade the warranty here : http://support.lenovo.com/en_MY/product-service/default.page?
Email ASEAN@lenovoreg.com or call Lenovo support for confirmation : http://www.lenovo.com/contact/my/en/

Reminder for Lenovo laptop owners with 2 yrs warranty
Remember to register on-line to 2 yrs warranty, else it will default as 1 yr warranty fr manufacture date. icon_rolleyes.gif

Beware of cheapo US imported set (AP set) with no local warranty support. Read updates in post#1. Happy hunting. laugh.gif

Anyone can comment on how the Flex 2-14 compares with the Z50-70 (i5 version) for moderate gaming? they have identical specs, but the Z50-70 is cheaper?

do they overheat easily? is it a pain to open them for cleaning?

Is it still worth to get the Y410p considering its kinda outdated now?

Saw the Y50 in MidValley today to get a hands-on, I must say it looks very good. The built is sturdy and it's very compact feel. Starts at RM4k!
