does the sli version of y510p (RM 3999) hav the problems that u state?

It depends on ur windows version/driver version/game. U may want to google for more info if ure interested to buy one.

the issue is depend on game.
Some may optimize in SLI some may nor.

Somehow SLI mean around 50~70% performance increase to Single GPU

best still single GPU for stability

just wondering, did y510p support 42mm M.2 NGFF SSD?

hi all.. planning to get y510p single gpu version with ssd..

i have an unanswered question here.. is it possible to use ssd as primary drive by using the ultrabay slot? or to use as primary drive the ssd must slot into the actuall hdd compartment and slot the hdd using ultrabay?

It's possible to use the m2 ssd as primary while the given HDD as secondary. I found the tutorial link at http://www.addictivetips.com/
but can't remember the exact link.

hi.. I couldnt find any related info about it in the website.. but found some useful info on how to tweak ssd..

meanwhile I have search on lenovo forum and found this.. it also says that replacing the original hdd with ssd wouldnt void the warranty.. not sure whether this statement applies to malaysia or not..

Sry newbie here, is there an extra slot to put the ssd?
Or you need replace the hdd with ssd and the hdd put on ultrabay slot?

The 2nd lines is correct for sata ssd

Or else use the m.2 ssd

So if i buy this, no need replace the hdd right?

i remember asking one of the staff in lenovo shop at lowyat. They said that once the HDD is removed, it will tear a sticker i guess? that will void the warranty.

I am no sure whether there is a sticker or not as i had not open the back cover before

when Lenovo y50 release ? so tempting =)

Since there is alot ppl talk about this...i will post my result with the MyDigitalSSD Super Cache 2 128GB NGFF M.2 Sata..yes perform like real ssd with the Fnet Hybridisk come in the pack ...and i'm satisfied with it....what really amaze me is the size of NGFF ssd....

Btw I just bought Y510p like a month ago, come with the NGFF M.2 Sata Port... and yes 1 TB big, but 5,400 RPM Suck Big Time!!!....

no. there is no sticker behind of the machine, i mean after the cover is removed

i dont think it fit. y 410p/y510p uses at least 120W for single gpu, and 170w for sli version. head to any dearler and the price is within 130-170 (depending upon the delaer)
