Is the gt755m ultrabay add on card available now? Im getting the 755m single gpu version

Not sure this a right thread to post or not. Last week, i just bought Lenovo Y510p and came together with Windows 8. I heard that u can free upgrade to Windows 8.1, but there no any upgrade at Windows Store even thou I already update the system. Any advice?

afaik, windows 8 is eligible to upgrade to win 8.1. try check in the windows apps store

already check million times still don't have Windows upgrade 8.1 at Windows apps store.

oh not sure why this happening. fyi, I did upgraded my own win8 pro and my fren win 8 SL to 8.1pro and 8.1 respectively using windows app store few months back.

First thing to do is to update your windows 8 to the latest update if u havent done so. I did this, then boom, windows upgrade available on app store.

already update until cannot update anymore. But still no window 8.1 upgrade on windows store.

hye there..just wondering..i just notice that my y400 gt750 is lagging, especially when playing demanding games, such as NFW MW2013. My adblock plus on chrome is also not working at all. This things had occured before, but it went away once i installed win 8.1, and it come again! i suspect that the culprit is the disk repairing mechanism since sometimes, the windows is a bit hang since HW Monitor won't start after i booted the laptop, a i had to force shutdown the laptop (and i've uninstalled this programme from my laptop). is my assumption is right? and what should i do rectify this never ending issue?

Guy i am looking for gt750m external gpu for y510 any body has it for sale

i think someone in garage sales are selling it... came across the thread in garage sales weeks ago, but sorry cant seem to be able to find that page now..

from the minimum requirements posted, the min gpu required is 512 vram of Radeon HD 4770 or GeForce 8800GT, so i think a laptop gt755m that comes with the current batch of y510p should b able to handle medium if not high settings for titanfall.. or if u can wait and not hurry, try to wait for lenovo y50 or y40 which may arrive in 2nd quarter i guess...

SLI i see... definitely no prob la... but i think if single gpu, medium shud b ok

erm guys wanna ask about the screen , i have a y510p with single 755m gpu , what is the screen type? glossy or anti-glare? cant find it on the box

its glossy.. if the screen reflects like that of a mirror, it is glossy. if it doesnt reflect and its matte..

not sure o.. haven tried it out.. just that i predicted since gt755m is a mid high gpu for lappy.

but if u dislike the reflection when u r using the lappy in bright room, setting brightness to the max should solve the problem
