will
coz it will choke your download speed...

streamyx 512k upload limit should be around 15-19
and 1M is around 30

wow~ cool down man... we got your message loud and clear  laugh.gif
Yes you can resume your downloaded files. What you need is to have your torrent file  or if you don't then u can right click on the file u r downloading at BitComet and select 'Save Torrent As..' if not u basically have to find back the original source.
After you done with your formatting and place your incomplete download file to the place of your liking, you open your torrent file and the first thing u need to do when the window pop-up is the select 'Resume' on the 'Task:' dropdown menu.
Then browse for the incomplete download file then select OK.

Usually the program will hash check for you as it will check the % complete of your file. If it didnt then stop the torrent and right click on the torrent and select 'Manual Hask Check' then you are done~

By the way i'm using version 0.70 but i don't think there is much difference on the interface design
Hope this helps  wink.gif

hhmm...you see....u properties the torrent file u want to resume...On General you'll see the save location of ur torrent file. Make Sure is the same folder u save on the previous file. If not , u must find where u put it. After that click okay.
Then click ur torrent file again and click Manual Hash Check. thumbup.gif

the "settings" for the BitComet maybe been configure as "Read Only"....
try go to your BitComet download directory, at the "BitComet.xml" file, right-click and deselect the "Read-Only"

@tan_pang, i want to ask my line is 1m and i just read the BT thread here, if i limit my upload speed, will my download speed increase as well? I already limit my upload but stil my download speed is lower.

How to get my download speed faster and what number should i put in port forward?
I'm using Bitcomet 0.79

limit upload speed maybe increase your download speed since that your upload choke your download
but the problem is, we suffer from earthquake + tmnuts throttle (now no more tmnuts laugh.gif )
some people in here said we better dun limit upload before connected to any peer
becoz more upload speed maybe can make you connect to more peer

the port no. you can put maybe any 5 digit that did not used by other application
can try 49152-65534

Nowadays, its really difficult to connect any trackers, we rely on the DHT only. But I found that, if UDP tracker, still can connected and download.
But the speed since TM never solve it as other countries were restored back the backup speed. We are sad for TM performance.

by default the torrent file is saved at Torrents folder inside ur Bitcomet folder, try look it out (e.g.: C:\Program Files\BitComet\Torrents)

depends on the file u r downloading, if the tracker is based on the affected area then no connection is just reasonable (didn't u read the news about underwater cables got "snapped" at South of Tw???)

can't blame much on TM for this time (except for the fact tat they don't hav fund to support backup routing plan... tongue.gif )
