I have already forwarded my port.

However, if I let me bitcomet running to download things, I couldn't surf the web. How come?
*
limit ur bitcomet upload speed at 80% of your exact upload speed.

512kb/s /8 = 64kb/s (actually i get max 40-48kb/s from speedometer)

then use 40kb/s x 80% = 32kb/s as ur bitcomet upload speed.

if still cannot surf net, then uninstall the firewall. i hate it.

*
utorrent have to wait about 5 or 8 minutes to boost up the speed when u started the torrents.

Please set this:

Global Connection: 200-250
Connection per torrent : 100-120 (my setting)
upload speed: 32kb/s (if urs 1M package)
upload slots: 4 or 5
net.max_halfopen : let it default value of 8.

Protocol Encryption: set it to Forced.

and test if ur port forwarding correctly or not http://www.utorrrent.com/testport.php?port=xxxxxx (xxxxxx means ur port)

by default the torrent file is saved at Torrents folder inside ur Bitcomet folder, try look it out (e.g.: C:\Program Files\BitComet\Torrents)
depends on the file u r downloading, if the tracker is based on the affected area then no connection is just reasonable (didn't u read the news about underwater cables got "snapped" at South of Tw???)
can't blame much on TM for this time (except for the fact tat they don't hav fund to support backup routing plan...  tongue.gif )
*
hehe, i must blame on TM who throttled the BT connection, some more can't even play online game at Taiwan server. Tm really dun have backup link to Taiwan?

My BC can't connect to any trackers, even Tuotu also the same. Really sad.

i think it mean only supported by the ISP that didnt throttle P2P traffic...

maybe it is another way to improve the speed...

Now its support P2SP like Tuotu do. Have tested, but speed quite slow.

The newer version 0.86 onwards, eat a lot of upload speed, this may totally affected ur download rate.

I've tried older version it can run up at 100KB/s but unstable.
Tuotu is only 70-80KB/s max.

you cant limit your upload?? unsure.gif

ya, set upload at 30KB/s, but it uses 50 and above of upload rate which shown by DU meter.

and ping to DNS, a lot of timeout.

Which Bitcomet version should be the best to download since TM had throttled our BT connection.

Start from 0.70 till 0.89, u all recommend which version?

Without VPN, Proxy involved.

For myself, I've tested V0.84 is the best of all. Average speed at 60-80kb/s
