I have the same issue after mileage about 130k km, this is normal for wear and tear. Had the magnetic clutch replace market got 2 version. 1 so call cheap no brand cost less the RM 200 and another is ori from Dens cost less then RM 350 both exclude install, labour, air con gas.

If hot air mostly is magnetic pull but if really bad luck some time it can be compressor.

Mostly any car air conditioning shop can do this job try look for those with vacuum service system and refill oil this may help u prolong ur compressor and air conditioning is colder.

Happened to my friend's Vios once in Cameron Highlands. It had been parked overnight outside the hotel and after a short drive in the morning, the key could not be pulled out when he wanted to park the car. He went to a workshop there and the mechanic sprayed some WD40 into the keyhole and voila, the key could then be taken out after some gentle wriggling. That was the one and only time it had happened. My friend believes whatever the root cause of the problem might be, it would never happen at normal temperature in the city.

will do, by the way it didnt happen for few day already.
but will still spray some, to avoid unable to pull out anytime soon maybe lol.

again I shall highlight it, as long as its a stand alone, plug and play device without the need to cut/peel and short the wires, its fine to go ahead, no warranty voids.. Cheers smile.gif

Hie Sifu, need some help a bit... sad.gif

I just bought my new Vios 3rd gen.

took it right before CNY.
Pumped full tank.
But only able to drive until 370km. then the fuel light blinking already.
As that time i drove for another 10km to pump petrol, i pumped RM70.xx for 380km drive...
which is about Rm0.18
I do city drive... very little jam.... always try to stay under eco light... whenever slope down, i always push to neutral gear...

but why is my fuel consumption so huge??? i always heard people said toyota save fuel... no? it seems a lot new vios owner experience the same? full tank only can drive for around 350km... sad.gif

and also i feel that the engine like less power de? like averagely it need 2rpm to go next gear most of the time... even for 1st gear go to 2nd gear, sometimes it need close to 2.5rpm only switch to 2nd gear. isit common?

If it's the timing belt do not put lubricant. Use wax instead.

The new Vios is still on timing belt?

As per written, max 2 months. Well it's a bonus if its arrive earlier than expected, what are the things you specifically look into upon collection? Would you mind to share?

Thanks

this is my current record for the past fuelUps. But i only started recording it at ODO 3583km.

On average, i get around 12.6km/Litre. that is equivalent to RM0.167 per KM.

do let it run first for few more Ks first before making any judgement. Do take note that it also depends on your daily traffic condition. Mine is like 30% Heavy Traffic, 70% smooth.

Hope this help.
