I'm looking for Sparco steering wheel, changing exhaust for Vios 2010 J, rear absorber, any recommendation?

bought my car since 2011 August, now rear absorber already leaking (used to carry a lot of heavy stuff in bonet due to work).
-check with friend he sell 2 x ori rear absorber + changing = RM380
-asked 1 outside car shop quote me for oem ori x 2 + fix = RM338
-check with the spare part shop located at Pandan Perdana area (nearby Safari Pandan Perdana) oem ori x 2 = RM290 (without fix)
-check with Fortune Auto Parts Supply, 2 x rear absorber for toyota (quality doesn't know) RM230

Hi guys, I m still considering whether to get a Vios auto J or Honda City S+. I did both test drive 1x each. The Vios test-drive was disappointed by the sound of the car underbelly hitting a little road bump. There were 3 people inside the car, SA included. I was driving slowly when approaching the bump. Other than that, the car feels heavy but stable. Is there anything that I should take note of when I do the 2nd test drive? Thanks in advance.

Shall I go for adjustable or stick back OEM? The stock ones was too soft, yet the adjustable stiffer yet price is there. Absorber leaking front, got the feel back coming soon, used six years for front n rear. Need suggestion.

For your safety concerned, you should test drive both Toyota Vios G Spec and Honda City V Spec. In terms of maintenance cost, Honda is expensive but in terms of resale value, Toyota is the winner. At the end of the day, you going to decide whether opt for comfort drive (Toyota) or stiff handling drive (Honda).

a friend who is a used car dealer help me found a tip top condition 2014 vios trd @ 12000+km, selling 75k~.

I wonder whether worth buying used trd or new J/E spec.

considering that buying new car has lower interest rate, being new and the year 2015.

25k down payment btw, enlighten me please

Go for a new one as he OTR price tag includes everything.

For a used car, there's additional processing fee and insurance premium on top. This easily sums at around few thousands.

But, its a TRD specs which cost rm92k for a new one. End of the day, up to ur own decision.

33L gave 350km, equivalent to 10.6km/litre... abit on the higher side as mine can go around 12km/l.

it also depends on the traffic condition though.

Hello all taikos,

I got an offer for a 2012 Vios G Spec for 50k,

Millage around 35k and in good condition.

Is it worth it? What will be the interest rate roughly be?

What is the process if want to take over the loan straight?

Any ideas?

Thanks. :-)

New Vios Batch 1,2,3 few problem and already been confirm by SC, the root top sound proof as well. bring back to your purchase car SC and make a complain, they should be adding sound proof for your root top for free and change the "Leg Arms" as well if not mistaken.
*Friend work inside SC told me about this.

from what i know is, if you are buying the new Vios, batch 1,2,3 can go and complain to SC. and they will change new one for you. go back to the SC which you bought your car is better. else they(other SC) simply "Layan" you only cos you're not purchasing with their company.

I own a batch 3 Vios and I've changed lower arm and mounting. I must say that the 'kruk' sound has been reduced significantly. I live in an area where the road condition is bad so the 'kruk' sound happens more often. On normal roads it's hardly noticeable.

For people who asks if they should get a Vios or a City/Mazda 2, I'd say that if cheap spare parts and perceived reliability of the car is not a concern, don't go for Vios. Too much hassle for a new car and the delayed pickup is really a turn off, other problems aside.
